I could be wrong, but I don't think it only really matters. You can break into a ship by just shooting the ramp door, so I've never really seen much of a point. You're really only keeping out players that have no weapons / ammo.

You can organize inventory to sell. For example, you transfer everything you don't want to sell (grenades, food, multi-tools, whatever) to the station inventory and go to sell using the ship inventory (which will have everything you want to sell) and just press Quick sell in everything.

If you go down Security Checkpoint 2 there are unlimited enemies, so you can go bonkers with this method. Just keep in mind, that sometimes enemies will appear right in front of you, but they're not the smartest ^^ Thank you for this guide!

Also: i'd recommend hitting the cargo deck, and buying a large empty scu container of some kind, at least 2scu if not bigger, and then then put it in the ships cargo hold, it massively increases the "loot carrying" capabilities of even small ships

One thing to mention is that the inventories at distribution centers work like other locations, such as space stations and mining outposts. Their inventory persists! That means you don't have to get everything out of it before logging off. I personally build these inventories up for a while, then fly my c2 there for a mission and load it up before leaving. This allows you to chain missions much faster. I've only done distro centers in Hurston, so interested to see if I can add this one to the mercenary missions I'm already doing.

It can be done, I am currently working on another video that is intended for groups but can also be done solo. It will chain 3 missions in a row paying about 120k for a 35-60 minute mission session. Not to mention extra profits from weapon selling, armor selling and call to arms bringing the total pay out to about 600k uec

​@@Bendak-ttv or you could just loot rare cargo from bounty hunting targets. 2-3 medium ships with a 315p and 4 players could make millions per hour with the 315p being the dedicated cargohauler. Focus only on crates that exceed a 25k per scu value. Turn and burn indiscriminately while having one guy hang back if there's too much dank loot. Technically if you had a squad rocking mass drivers you wouldn't even need medium ships (mustang delta/Sabre shoutout... if you can field 5-10 tanas then you won't need to worry about your signature.) Seems way more practical and rewarding then stripping dead combatants of their armor and dignity.

Puff this is the SDL13 logistics center ! i told this to global chat around a week , and u have a easy way to do it , i can show how its a lot better then ur way ! can explain all in detail i have done this all week around ! After doing one mission, i do the next 2 missions in 10 minutes , with all bodies looted! 😂 there is a way after u are down , u get up near exit using a stairs 😂

I used to do that for jumptown locations. When jumptown isn't on, I used to go there and loot but leave some items behind and leave med pens. Then when jump town was on, I'd have a bunch of equipement there already to use. Then with a new patch, if no wipe, it all got sent to my local inventory to sell and have a good start.

You can also loot guns and armor on the 890 jump bording mission. Eva out of your cheapest ship, board the 890 jump ship, kill every bad guy, loot the guns, and leave using the 300 jump ship in the hanger. You don't have to do any dog fighting.

Tried this mission past couple of days abandoned ships everywhere and a few other players around so just left tried it again today and the NPCs were hard as nails tried to leave to go back to my ship to restore my health and glitched through the elevator and disappeared into oblivion 😢 still got some loot saved in the local inventory so will try again when the servers are better !

By the way if your ship makes that weird engine noise like at 13:20 then switch to quantum mode and back after that it should turn off. Its a weird bug right now and can be really annoying on some ships.

fyi you get way more for guns at everus harbour 2.5k per p4r and karnas i think are 2.1. Ive been doing this from the start of the wipe..easy money defiance helmets and armour torso also good money 1.8k helmet 2.4k armour i think. any sniper and lmg are pretty good money too around 2k each. maybe try hurston distribution centres :)

In next patch this will not work as local inventory will not exist you will have to carry one item at a time out or take a cargo box into the mission and load that up then carry it to your ship, then hope your cargo box don't fall through the ship.

There is one workaround. You will lose money with the wipe, but not ships, so just make sure you put that money to use before the update. I lost around 100 million auec at the last wipe, wish I had bought more ships.

(cannot resell it again, I just can't buy a new, because the ship shows as full at outposts, will claim it and hope it helps)

The local inventory must be an oversight, I have been using this for a couple days and ended up farming basically infinite armor sets. There are also boxes of steel you can take with a tractor beam back to your ship to sell.

@@Bendak-ttv I died 5 times doing that mission. Eventually had to go get a rescue ship so I can respaen at the location... I think I fought near 50+ enemies, if not more. I lost count. I don't know why there's so few enemies showing in your video compared to my reality. Took me nearly an hour to complete (due to having to bring a rescue ship and then a different ship to haul the loot back to Tresler) with all the dying in between. Sometimes looting and then a few more enemies show up after "area was secured".... Great mission for fun action, but if what I experienced is the standard... It's absolutely by no means the "easiest" or "quickest" way to get 30k.... I'll do another run at it tomorrow to see of its the same intensity.

Oh man, Tops I've seen is about 22-25 at a time. a good tip is to bring in the S71 rifle its pretty good against medium armor enemies most times killing them with 3-4 shots.

@@Bendak-ttv figured it out. If you enter a fresh server and you're basically the 1st one to run the mission the enemy density is cranked way up... If your on a server where the mission has been done a couple of times there seems to be far less resistance... Either way, I got it down now. Thanks again for this great video advice.

I get the investigation missions all the time. But I never get one for $34k. I must be doing something wrong or the ones in Hurston don't offer that much. I've also never used the local inventory I've been dragging bodies to my ship lol. When I do the bunker investigation I never get attacked. Could be because I request landing.

These missions you are doing. Are they legal missions or illegal mission? Cuz if they are legal missions you are missing out on an extra 500 per kill by not taking the Call to Arms mission under Mercenary. Which should always be priority once you log on, as long as you're planning to stay on the legal side of Star Citizen. Just a friendly FYI!! 😁😁

I forgot to cover this on the video, but it seems that the call to arms add on does not pay for this mission since the kills are on security guards instead of bandits. Im not sure if its my game being bugged or what. Thanks for the observation!

so answer me one question. If you shoot someone and then take his armor. That armor has damage and is no more holding ear. That means you are not able to use it to stay alive in space. Shooting other player in head and putting his helmet on is so cringe. But it will never be fixed.

I found out about a week ago playing with some friends. Once I noticed the mission basically refreshed every 15 minutes I was like hold up this might be good for money.

@@Bendak-ttv oh well to make more money off this dont land on the top of the depot land on the side where the big doors are open you you dont have to kill as many people if theyre a new player thats doing the mission after completing the mission its usually back after about 5 minutes (sometimes the mission glitches out where after you search all the bodies the mission wont complete TO FIX IT you must abandon after abandon itll take 10-25 minutes i think to come back/regen the mission) also theres a room that gives a sniper and a shotgun

Have not encountered this but thanks for the heads up! Also I do land on the top to "maximize" the loot since most times you can encounter from 4 to 6 guards. It is also usefull for new players to get a feel for the combat and upgrade their weapon. Yesterday I did go through the hanger area and somehow sombody got a gladius stuck sideways 🤣🤣

From 35 to 60 fps depending the area also if the server is not so full I get about 80.

Sadly, the wost part is new players get their shot at cargo hauling stolen before they even start since whales are buying everything including low paying resources just to be able to sell and repeat.

if you are doing it tight you can make 600k on hurston buy shooting everybody in the hostile facility. but take a big ship. at least a conni better a starlifter
