Just a thought for new players. Consider processed food the profit margin is over 35%, and the cost is something you probably afford. Then add the pick-up and drop-off can be added to your box missions or other runs. With under $10k for around $1.5k profit. Gas money covered for the day is covered! Just a thought for those just starting.

Yeah, always close the door. If it is "just" Titanium in an outpost close to nowhere, that is the only exception :)

Best run I've found is filling a C2 with Beryl from Shubin SMO-10 or Shubin SMO-22 on mircroTech and deliver to Orison. Just under 1.7 mil invested for a profit of 360-400k per run. Always enough stock and no waiting for server tics to sell. It's about a 20 minute 1 way trip. Usually I just save the time and go back empty, but you could find something to haul back. In my experience, running the Hull C only makes about 200-300k per run with more steps involved to buy/sell. I've also had nothing but problems with it. After docking at a space station, when it's time to call it back from storage, it has a good chance of going to a docking port that won't open the doors. I've lost more money with the Hull C than I've made. Granted, that was prior to 3.22 (I haven't tried it in 3.22). IMO, I'd only run the Hull C for something different or if it was my only cargo ship. Stick with the Hercules, Caterpillar, or even Carrack for the best experience and profit.

Is selling berryl on Orison better than selling in new babbage? NB might be faster

Yes, NB is much faster. Prices can vary a bit, especially places where few players buy or sell will offer slightly better prices. But honestly, I would just go to the nearest TDD and call it a good trade :)

New Babbage is definitely faster, but you get about 180,000 more aUEC per trip by going to Orison. There's typically about a 300 aUEC difference in profit per SCU. That's pretty big when running a C2. Throw on a TS-2 quantum drive and you can make the trip from microTech to Crusader in about 5 minutes (quantum travel time only). You may be able to make more by going to New Babbage if you're going to be trading for several hours in a session, but Orison is better for shorter sessions. Don't know what the cutoff time would be where one is better than the other, though.

@@AleXoTroN Mehr ist natürlich besser, aber mit den richtigen Gütern / Routen kommt auch so ordentlich was zusammen. Hab lange Zeit die Freelancer Max benutzt, macht Spaß und entspannt. Und dann hab ich WiDoW, Maze usw. ausprobiert :D Bis dann !

My experience last 4 days after a year or so off... spend hour salvaging, land at area 18 to sell, put on cargo grid. Store ship... cargo dissappears. Go cargo running, buy cargo, land near ttd, ship falls through landing bay under map, lose it all. Go again, buy cargo, fly back to sell, sell but demand is low. Recall ship... I know have a full cargo grid but nothing physically there, cant sell it just no cargo space. Go salvaging for an hour, fly back lamd ship... 30k. See you in a cpl years again

Hull C only works in space rn, means you cant get the good commodity's to make enough profit. 360k per run is the best I could do since you cant load on the ground yet.

The Hull C is only ever going to be able to load/unload in space (Also the Hull D and Hull E). The Hull A and B are the only ones in the Hull Series that will be able to load on the ground.

So to get started in hauling you do not get contracts you have to go to these "locations or terminals" and buy the cargo and then move it to another location and hopefully it sells?

Hauling missions will be introduced with the next big update soon. Until then yes... you basically buy in one location and sell in other locations. Either use the trade routes from my video, they give you good profits and places where you can actually buy/sell these goods. Otherwise there are good tools available to check availabilities. (such as sc trade tool) But do not rely on these 1:1, some are outdated or demand/supply may vary. Good luck!!

Does it still take 10plus min to get to lorivile? I don’t go there anymore. Takes sooooo long to get through the atmosphere lol. There are better runs out there.

Man I fully loaded my c2 with gold. Went to go sell. Shows 0%. Went to check my cargo. Can multi tool the cargo or anything. It there physically in the ship but it’s not showing that I can sell it. Went back to mining outpost and bought 95 gold and was able to sell that. But now my cargo in my c2 is loaded with gold that I can’t sell. Lol

Sure, you can sell in Lorville, New Bebbage, Orison, just to name a few. Flight time might be a bit longer, but you can absolutely sell there.

Only by ways, the makers don't approve, afaik. There are gold sellers sometimes... but generally speaking, you make aUEC, the ingame money.

Only been playing for a couple of months but the amount of times I've had people looking over my shoulder at terminals and/or crouch in a corner and try to sprint into the elevator last second is ridiculous 😂

Seems like Titanium is the best thing to sell until you have half a million to invest. At that point it seems like the Recycled Material has the best profit margins, with the exception of gold which is always out of stock. If I'm wrong and there's better profit margins with other materials, please reply and let everyone know

Just retested some of these routes. I liked the Beryl run from Ita to Lorville, and the Haephaestanite from Baijini Point to Area 18. RMC is still the highest Profit, if it is in Demand.
