Ben, regarding last year (annus horribilis), do you notice that your poker performance is affected by what is going on in your personal life, and what advice would you give to mitigate that effect.

Someone told me long ago when there’s a flush on board the guy who doesn’t look at his hand has it. Everyone else looks at their cards to see what card they have of the suit the have.
@380_pound_black_womans_sto33 жыл бұрын
What does of the suit the have mean?
@salvatoresapia56543 жыл бұрын
380_pound_black_woman's_stool_sample if the board comes out all clubs, the other players will check to see what club they have. The person that actually flop the flush doesn’t check his whole cards be because he knows he has the flush. Watch for it the next time you play.

76dd is slam dunk raise there on that turn. Too many bad rivers. Any high hand bonus?
@mumblesbadly77083 жыл бұрын
Ben, it CAN be super tempting to flirt with almost certain danger by calling a pro’s massive three-bet on the flop when you only have the 2nd nuts. Learning to resist that temptation is one of the things that separates those who can comfortable go pro fulltime versus be just an overall-winning player as a side hustle.

@mikemeunier62853 жыл бұрын
Omc = old man coffee it's someone who's old and plays a straight, tight game. VIP is the action player who makes the game great cuz they usally play alot of hands and usally lose.

@mikemeunier62853 жыл бұрын
Omc= old man coffee it's a phrase for older people who play poker. They normally play tight, straight forward poker. When they bet river big they usally have it lol

Absolutely disastrous river check, Ben. When the 8 of diamonds hits, more importantly than rivering the stone cold nuts, your opponent can no longer continue. The board pairs, flush hits, and straight is already there. Now he is not incentivized to bluff and only can showdown (being a pro) his now marginal overpairs and top pairs. When you check, you have to put him squarely on value: JKs+ and 44, 99, TT. Given this information, you need to extract value right then and there with a 33% pot bet or 50-60% pot bet. You have 0 bluffs.

I think if you want to make money in sports tv, I have two ideas for you. First is produce a half hour local high school sports program for Reno. Friends of mine did it in the Bay Area and it was pretty popular and they made some money.

Hey man, just advice.....the more action you show us, meaning more table play and slightly longer videos equal more subs, more views and more likes. Overall you're not the worst player I have seen, and I know you're working on improving your game. Always hard to trap people unless you can make it look like an obvious bluff. Thanks for what content you provide, looking forward to seeing you grow, if you are willing to.

I know it's been mentioned before, but man the Peppermill's playing cards trigger me like nothing else. How can such a nice property have such janky ass, flimsy, bent-to-hell cards in their poker room? It's like they found the cheapest vendor they could and bought truckloads of them at a steep discount. Really makes it hard to watch the content here. But I keep coming back, so I guess Ben is doing something right. LOL
