Unless they are selling it based on pieces of chicken, I don’t care about getting some smaller pieces. I’ve sometimes had places that sell it by pieces, but have counted the smaller pieces as half and given me more. I have a Pelicana here in Seattle, but haven’t tried it because it seems a little pricey for fried chicken.

There's lot of variety here in Korea and every fried chicken franchises have their own way of making chicken, so it's hard to tell. We have Bonchon here too(so technically yes) but it's only avaliable in Busan and around that area so I never had a chance to try it but I assume it's like Kyochon chicken? which has multiple branches all around the country. light thin batter, light sauce, very crispy chicken. Then yes, we have that here and its very popular style of fried chicken. But what he had in this video is not that one. Those old school-ish Korean fried chickens are kinda like Japanese Karāge.
