That huth made a nice bend for sure. I'm still in love with my bendpak tho.

Looks like the Huth does a nice bend. However I see the back shoe gates are shorter than on say a Ben Pearson MC59HS where you can set a block of wood to keep your half or three quarter shoes from digging into the tube.

Yes they are shorter and they do not support a piece of wood as well. What you can try to do is place a longer 2 x 4 type of wood ( 14” ) on the end of the half shoe, only the half shoe, and try to hold it in place until pressure is applied to the wood from the bending process. Remember half shoes only bend to around 40 - 45 degrees. The wood is to try and get a few more degrees of bend.

Having sold both over the years we ONLY sell Huth now. The Bendpak spare parts come with "Made in China" labels which they dont publicise

What if it was 2” pipe would the pressure on back shoes change?

sir we have huth berder in our shop.,., its not good on bending a stainless pipes.,., can you please give me an advice what kind of materials should i use.,.,or can you just please tell me what kind what kind of pipe you used in this video.,., thanks

For Stainless tubing 2 1/2 inches plus, you will have better results with special tooling ... "controlled wrinkle dies", which help guide the material to eliminate kinking. Please call us 800-558-7808 or email us [e-mail] for more detail
