I look at this PERFECTION and I still don't get why the dvd comes from the australian version I MEAN LOOK AT THEM!! They embody PERFECTLY The Phantom and Christine I mean PURE PERFECTION!

These two are the broadway version of the golden couple in opera, Anna Netrebko and Rolando Villazon.

Nonono, dont immerse Netrebko and Villazon to the level of musicals. I like Andrew Lloyd Webber very much, but Sierra Boggess absolutely incomparable with Netrebko. What a beautiful soprano Anna and what a squeaky voice Sierra Boggess. Okay Ramin Karimloo sings well. But Sierra Boggess not this level.

Ramin and Sierra are great actors but this musical really tamped down on their chemistry especially Sierra. She deserved more man. Seeing her performance at the 25th shows how powerful and convincing she is and her how wide her range can be. Sad she never got to unleash it all.

I just saw the Australian cinematic recording, and while I much prefer Sierra and Ramin, the staging on the Australian version was electric for this song. So much glorious tension that is simply missing from this version. Overall, I disliked Love Never Dies, but this song is wonderful, and when performed well, it's mind-blowingly beautiful and tragic.
