+Grace Kujak I read all the books some years ago. I shipped them that time, and now with the series I do even more. I don't think it's spoiling anything, it's interpretation. Of course you can see it as a bromance, and I don't have any problems if anybody doesn't ship it, I'm just happy if I can do so. But actually I think it's great how they took the idea of Johnlock and deepend it, made something new of it, but still following the books. Like shipping became very popular, so act on that idea is something very interesting and for me very important. Also I think that the fact that they are gay (you can't tell me, in the series they aren't) is very important for society, so being gay becomes more 'normal'. For of course there are series and movies with gay couples, but than these are storys especially written about gays. Invented to be about the relationship between to guys. But this is not what Sherlock is about. Sherlock is about solving crimes. And you don't watch it for the gayness but for the crimes, the work of Sherlock and all the cases he and Watson went through. Yeah, more than I actually wanted to write, but hopefully understandable for my English isn't that good and my thoughts are confusing.

Yeah, he isn't gay. I actually think he's bi. Or straight, but he fell for Sherlock nethertheless. But then Sherlock died. So he fell in love with Marry. I won't deny that. He loves her for sure. But before that. In times there was no Marry. I think he loved Sherlock back than (and still does, even in an quite different way), and I really feel like Sherlock loves John. He did back than, and he still does when John gets married. Doesn't mean they actually told each other, were an official couple and so on.
