To speak the truth I'm not a great facial hair fan with him either. But I'm afraid I'm head over heel smitten by him anyway, so.... He had it like this in "Wreckers", too. Cumberbatch looked absolutely cute (the dress suited him well) in the play and did a splendid job (but doesn't he always ;-)

Why does EVERY SINGLE ACTOR who plays a major, wellknown historical figure tell the same old lie? They ALL always say they want to do an interpretation not an imitation. Bullshit. It wouldn't even begin to work unless a great deal of mimicry was involved. I thought they did that quite well. Why denigrate their own performances? They have achieved much - and much more than the script did. Bravo! Three cheers. Maybe four. Each.
