Discernment Step Two: Holiness

If you have taken the first step of discernment--being responsible for your life--and want to begin making strides toward discovery what you need to live out is the vocation to holiness; radically following Christ. This choice to be holy cannot be immature or hesitant, thus why you need to begin seriously considering taking responsibility for your life. To live a true vocation, whatever it may be, is not a movement toward mediocrity in the faith but a profound sacrificial gift of self. A vocation not based first on holiness is not worth living.

I was a little hesitant going to a funeral mass for someone I had never met in life. The thought of going to something like that now when so many are worried about getting sick with a virus is heartbreaking to say the least. St Peter probably had more to worry about with leprosy patients than we do struggling through COVID-19, and he could heal them by the strength of his shadow overcasting the power of God. Everyone is so afraid of saying the obvious thing on their minds for fear of offense because they don’t want to deal with the death threats and vitriol spewed on social media. Pharisees were the originators of death threats for all intents and purposes.

Fr, can you make a video on spiritual direction for the laity? My first and only encounter was fruitful until it wasn't...I think I began circling my interior thoughts instead of seeing outward. A video on how to participate in spiritual direction would be beneficial.
