Thank you Father for letting those of us who grew up in the 50's taste again what Benediction was like. Although a child I sang along with the choir the beautiful latin hymns. What is disappointing to-day is that the Laudate Dominum is never sung whilst the Blessed Sacrament is being reposed in the Tabernacle. As you know this psalm calls all nations to come and bow down before Our Lord and God. Please dear Father bring back this hymn at the end of Benediction.

Yeah and proper Altar rails and a gate wouldn't go astray either. That said however it is noteworthy that at least the tabernacle is in the centre of the attempt at a High Altar and that the crucifix isn't a plus sign. Given that this piece was filmed 6 years ago I wonder whether appropriate improvements have been made and whether the congregation has increased in the mean time. We can only hope. Deo gratias.
