Peter will present the benefits and challenges of implementing a lean in design approach. In his presentation he looks at ways in which Ardmac have created added value for customers through Early Contractor Involvement ,(ECI) Shortened delivery times, Reduced variations, Increased transparency, Early value engineering, Cost effect solutions.
As well as an increase in shared responsibilities demonstrated as
some of the benefits from ECI. Peter will also discuss how to avoid
some of the potential challenges by using the ECI model.
