I have been counseling ALS patients for > 20 years, and the demand for blenderized recipes has never been greater. I have been sending 2 - 3 patients links to your channel every zoom clinic over past 5 months. Thanks!

My dad has been tube fed only with Vital formula for 7 months now. What foods would be the best to slowly start him with real food blends?

Hi Michele. Thanks for watching. I wrote a blog post on this topic. Link is here: www.naturaltubefeeding.com/post/looking-to-transition-from-formula-to-blenderized-tube-feeding Make sure to check with his healthcare team before adding any foods. Vital is a semi-elemental formula, meaning it requires less digestion for absorption than standard formula. It also has few allergens. Because it's such a specialized and expensive formula, it makes me think there must be a reason why your dad is on it and it would be important (as in any case) to get the ok from his MD or RD to add some foods to his diet. Good luck to you and your Dad :)
