🙌🏾 It is good to hear men discuss practicing celibacy. I have been celibate for 7 years and am determined to wait until marriage for sex. I was at a friend's house party recently and I had the opportunity to tell my testimony. Majority of the men there said I will not find anyone that is willing to wait and that bothered me a bit because the truth is that are many men out there that say they are Christians but not willing to wait until marriage for sex. But the way my God is setup I know He has the one for me that is on the same page of waiting. I commend you brother.

The benefits of being celibate for me are....no risks of STD'S, controlling my flesh & not allowing my flesh to control me, being able to use my discernment, recognizing lustful men, and waiting for God's best... my Boaz!!!! Jan 11, 2019 will be my 5th yr of celibacy. Each year of my celibacy I celebrate by taking myself on a date with myself (since I'm single), buying myself a special gift & saying a "Thank You" prayer to God for keeping me strong through my journey. I will say though, my honeymoon is gonna be off the chain...lol😊😁🤣😃😃😃😃😃

Thanks bro. I've been CELIBATE not out of spite or that. I've been with beauties because lovemaking now is over rated when used for wrong for deviant purposes. So my celibacy might be permanent. But I've been through enough trauma. Most self induced. I take responsibility. I love women. But I never learned to be a friend first , and when I did , there would be no relationship because I wouldn't do it. So her actions speak for itself. I have a problem saying no or had it. I'm not responsible for how a woman feels if I don't let her straddle me. Plus the true friendship with the opposite gender is Priceless.

Great video and thanks for the prayer. I decided to be celibate because I felt out of control and needy after sex. It didn't seem right. There's so much negativity tied to pre marital sex. I desire my husband, not a temporary mate and I know God has him just for me.

Wow. I don't know what to say. I feel like this video came to me from God. It's like you were telling me what I've been asking myself this whole time. You confirmed that celibacy is the way for me. I've had soul ties since I was 18, God came to me and said "wait". But I didn't listen because I was too busy trying to be the perfect girlfriend. I never understood why my exes didn't understand me. Without thinking about it, I realised that I was using sex to make them stay. I eventually ended up abusing alcohol to cope with any sign of rejection. I lowed my worth just so I can be praised for being a freak until I asked God once more after 8 years...and this video appeared to me. I've been trying to be everything that a men wanted me to be but I was never everything I wanted to be. For 8:years I never understood until now. Thank you for your prayer and will definitely apply. I'm celibate and I'm anti Christianity. I'm so glad you are discussing the difficult days -- that's an important topic. It's not an 'evil spirit' that made you have the urge to reproduce (have sex), that's how you were "DESIGNED" (you're a Christian, so I'll reason with you from that perspective of 'creation'). Every month when females are ovulating, when their bodies are preparing for fertilizing, she will have urges to reproduce (have sex). That's natural...nature. This is necessary for keeping humanity alive. It's important to understand this so you don't have to feel bad about how you feel, or turn to imaginary outside sources to stop yourself from carrying out the act of sex with random people. Another example: if you've got Daddy-issues/ Mummy-issues, you might want a deep 'connection' which leads you to have urges to connect with someone through sex. It's better to identify your issues through therapy, take responsibility for those issues and address them rather than having sex. I can go on and on, but the point is: this isn't an issue of 'god'/ 'jesus'/ 'evil spirits'; this is a issue of self-respect, healthy behaviours, and making decisions that keep us alive and well...in order to reproduce when it's the right time, with your wife/husband.

I understand that you are trying to explain the biology of sex but there is a large hole in your argument. Young girls have the biological capability to have a kid at 12 when they have their first period. This fact doesn't mean that they should. The urge to have sex should be suppressed or redirected into self until marriage. This is what our God has for us. This is discipline, and with great discipline comes great peace. Truly saved Husband+Wife=children. When we try to do it our way we always mess up. Hence the epidemic of single parent families.

So I had a conversation with some friends of mine (they proclaim Christianity but for some reason think biblical living is outdated but whatever that’s their decision 🤷🏾‍♀️ ) and they claim that casual sex doesn’t leave them with that lingering feeling/baggage. I would say that means they’re numb to something that’s supposed to be a potent and that it’s an unhealthy position to be in. However, I have felt a pull toward someone through just talking to someone and no physical ties. It's really extra tough with celibacy when you don't want to remarry n just want a meaningful relationship. Sex is a spiritual exchange. I have one ex that I feel I have some type of strong soul tie with for some reason. Never married, or had any kids with him. It's just really weird. I feel so deep no matter how many years it's been. I try to stop it, but it still comes up. It's so weird. I don't have that sense of connection with anyone else.

If you need a mate, you either ask your parents to hook you up or you wait for the Holy Spirit to train you and bring the one he's trained for you . Going out with multiple people is using a hook to fish when you'd need a trolley... Waiting on the Holy Spirit is asking the owner of the ocean to give you fish. God bless you!
