Looks are not everything. Yes attraction is definitely needed because I have ran across some nice guys but the attraction was not there. But I would like to think of looks as the pretty book cover in there store but it's what's on the inside that's going to truly get me and make me stay

Maybe a video on standards that women should have for Christian Men?! You've been putting out great content. God bless!
@OffTheCreamyCrack6 жыл бұрын
Yeah that would be good because women love to say it to other women but not as much males do that; so it would interesting to gain perspective...or if it should all be the same, since our standard is the word of God.

This was such an awesome episode and so needed. The only thing that I would add is that the reference to Leah's eyes being tender is also translated as poor in another version, meaning she had some type of defect with her eyes, which is why she was considered the less beautiful sister. Thank you for your obedience in these webisodes. It gives so much hope to see young men also pursuing Christ in their youth and singleness! God bless you.

This is such an encouragement to hear from a man, and especially one that is a virgin (because you've lived out purity from the get go, not to diminish those who haven't in any way). Many times when I am discouraged of why no relationship has happened, and being that "I'm such a catch" or people start to TRY to persuade me to settle for someone who's "just okay" with God (but can't spiritually lead yet) JUST so I can be with someone, the comfort I've gotten from God is "You see how you are? The anointing and call that I've put on your life? How I've made you, and the convictions you have? It's matching his too. So because you exist, know that he exists as well." I love how God gives each of us SOMETHING to anchor onto when we're discouraged...and today I finally saw one of your videos. Thank you for uploading and I honestly can't wait to see who your wife is! Blessings to you and keep encouraging the church.

It is vice versa Brother Dozie! When I'm on the train, people looks at me weird. I don't know if it's because I wear skirt, as a Black woman. Most 20 something year old woman, are popping it like its hot. In college, oh my. I hang out with the Muslim sisters just because we share the same mentality. I can't even find a true friend who loves God like I do yet, which makes me sad a little bit. But oh, well, Jesus is King!

Are you saying it's alright for saved and unsaved to date / enter a courtship? Or are you saying you can keep the option open ? Either way, don't you think that's a bit dangerous ?
@Dozie4J7 жыл бұрын
anneegmw great question, saved and unsaved should not be together. I am referring to those who get saved and are babies in Christ but growing steadfastly. As a man we lead. If the women we are leading is newly saved and growing, go ahead and court her as god approves. But as men we should not drop a women because she is growing or a baby, unless God says

Dozie Ezemma ah ! I see. Thanks for the response ! Great video !
@NaturalCee7 жыл бұрын
Dozie Ezemma I see your view on "saved and unsaved should not be together" but...it is possible for a saved person in the relationship to get the unsaved to be saved. This happened with my aunt and the story was shared with me. She was saved my uncle was not. I don't know all that she did but he ended up becoming saved and eventually a deacon at his church. Also if you haven't seen the movie "A Case for Christ" you should. It's a really good movie and based on a true story.
@anneegmw7 жыл бұрын
Natural Cee I’ve heard about it ! I really want to see it. In that movie they were already married though ... she let her quiet and gentle sprint (1 Peter 3:1) peak his curiosity and as he sought out to disprove her faith, he ended up finding it for himself

I agree that men wouldn't want someone completely damaged and that hasn't sought Christ for healing. But I would have to disagree with the notion of a woman being "a lot of work". Ephesians 5 talks about husbands washing their wives with the cleansing of the word. In courtship and marriage a part of the man's role is to work hard ironing out spots and wrinkles i.e. "baggage". Again, a woman has to do her own work prior to entering a relationship, but a man must put in "a lot of work" by leading her toward holiness and helping repair what might have been broken.
@Dozie4J7 жыл бұрын
Kadisha White I completely agree with your statement. When I say a lot of work, I am referring to baggage that only God can get rid off. And that should be handled before courtship
