JazakAllahKheir Sheik Mufti, I recently asked my children to forgive me if I ever did anything wrong that has ever caused them one second of pain. (this is not the first time Ive done this, I regularly do this with everyone I know, including my non-muslim family as I a revert)…My children quit talking to me after this. I was doing this to strengthen our relationship, they thought it meant I was admitting to wrong which I was falsely accused by their father. I know, and Allah knows I would never do anything on purpose to cause them one second of pain. Unfortunately they are using this as an excuse to cut contact again with me, their mother. I have always been so grateful to Allah to be a mother. It is a blessing I never thought I would have children. Even our biggest blessings are tests in our lives. Never the less, even if I knew this would happen, I rather be a mother than a millionaire! This is not just my test, this is the test of my children. I found my way to the right path, I pray they find theirs! We each will be tested, whether we pass our tests is up to us. I dont blame Allah for my pain, I have cried years of tears over this! But tears do wash away the pain. Please, no matter what your age, forgive your parents, call you parents, go see your parents. Parents dont want much from a child, just a little time with them! I love you my children, so much that I will never make you pick between me and your father. JazakAllahKheir

I am not talking to those who have sin me. I just detached to the toxic people around me. Its not healthy for me mentally and physically. Im loosing myself. And hated my life because of them. But the moment I forgave them, for the sake of Allah. And wish Good on them. I started to love myself and care for my health and trying to have a good connection to Allah. The love of Allah is my Goal. As an orphan no one will protect me and look after me except for Allah. I feel better now than those of my darkest days. Alhamdullilah.
