I'm in Shani dasha (till 2029) in Sade Sati (moon in Sravana) and it's my 2nd Saturn return.... I have Saturn in Aquarius in the 9th house, and I think for me the biggest thing was the realization that I was under the illusion that I had control over my life. I didn't suffer from any 'grind' because it's an energy I'm comfortable with but it took me away from everything I had built, took me away from where I had lived for 30 years and made me realize I have zero and I mean ZERO control over my life. It got so hard I just didn't want to be here. This is no joke.

I feel you mate. I am running through Saturn Mahadasha and my Saturn which is retrograde is placed with Moon in 4th house with Aquarius. Emotionally it's killing me. My Saturn Mahadasha is until 2030.

When my Saturn return came, I lost 100lbs and bought a whole new wardrobe and it was like a butterfly coming out of a cocoon. Whenever I have a strong rahu time period, I end up taking months off work for some reason. I got fired, but the next month I ended up getting a lot of money so it was okay. My Saturn cycle started in 2019. I turned 39 and I had survived a childhood war and life as a migrant in 4 continents. Had a PhD in engineering, family, success, I was on the top of my life. Personality wise, I have always been known for my workaholism, resilience, humility and being grateful. But everything went dark in 2019 and I’m stuck in a curse since. And must say, Learned about Saturn dasha etc around 2 years ago. And everything started making sense. My life went from happiness to sadness overnight. Haven’t smiled once in the last 5 years. I’m not even exaggerating. I’m 24/7 depressed and sad and despite trying so much harder in life than before, I’m just regressing. I can actually see myself going backward. Is this it for me for another 15 years???? Honestly, is it really what my life has turned into? Nothing works btw. Charity. Karma yoga. Chanting. Working harder. I honestly don’t think there’s a solution for Saturn dasha. I think it’s meant to be this exact misery during this cycle. I don’t think this dasha is related to our karma in this life. I must have some horrific past life karma. In this life, I had already suffered more than most I had ever met.

Happy birthday Shani 🪐❤ I'm watching that video on Jayanthi. And yes, I'm Libra asc, aquarius moon and in Sade Sati now. I met my Guru recently in my Saturn Rahu dasha, Rahu is in my 9th house and Saturn in my 12th house. The supreme consciousness gave it its best to take me on that path of Raja yoga and find my Dharma. Also I started reading a book from my Guru - Silence of Shiva. Forever grateful for Shani. ❤
