Hi Geno, I wish they were all as honest as you… I dropped into a dealer last week to trade in my 2016 Hyundai Tucson for the new 2023 hybrid model… Obviously to wait a couple months for it’s arrival.. Anyways,… I asked the dealer for the best price on my Tucson pointing out its low mileage at 97klm … €12k was his best offer… I travel a little further to A Kia dealer who offered me €17k trade in against the Sportage 2023 … Although my heart is set on the Tucson, I could not believe this robbery!! Basically not telling people the inflation on second hand cars !! My Tucson is pristine!!! Furthermore, when asking what mileage to expect on a new car he said roughly 1500km… I just seen a video KZbin stating there should be no more than 100km on a new car… anything higher is proof the car is been shipped … between dealers… Immediately I lost trust with this dealer! One of the first things in purchasing a new car is to develop trust with them so to keep going back!…

Thanks for your comment Peter. Was there a problem with the info?

@@samandgino No problem, tell us something about VRT, excise duty profiteering, the cap directory, contract valuations and contact valuations by garages skimming, clocking, damaged repaired cars end dealing and trade deals, the juicy stuff that dealers hide all the time.

@@peterperry5378 Yes your spot on… I notice he’s not responding either… O have a Hyundai 2016 low mileage 97km and Hyundai dealer offered me 12 against a new one, Kia offered me 17k against their new car… now there’s a jump of 5k … however, I noticed my car type and year going for over 18k

That information has nothing to do with the video. It was a simple guide to purchasing a new car in Ireland.

Kia being a heavy competitor of Hyundai will often cut their profit margins to turn a Hyundai customer to the Kia brand. Your 2016 Hyundai is out of warranty which will cost possibly 2000 to put back on. Then with service prices, repairs, marketing, paying for staff, electricity and also making a profit on top of it all.. you can see where the money comes from.
