I've found lancelota to be delicate & brittle and hard to dry. I have plantago major as well & that's the one I use for its medicinal properties as well as for tea.

Spit poultice, huh... In the novel "The hunger games", the character Rue treats some very bad, toxic stings the main character Katniss gets by taking some leaves, chewing them, then applying it to the stings. This sounds exactly the same, except it was a bush in the novel... Cool....

What an interesting connection! Some theorize that calendula or plantain leaves were the medicinal plant Rue chewed up to treat Katniss's tracker jacker stings, but who knows what wild plants The Capitol created to aid against their far darker arena creations! 😆🌿
