This bike is amazing. A little bit heavy but for the money it’s a great bike . Can’t fault it really. Take one for a test ride

TIP: If you have a compressor, use a air gun, will help to get them separated from teh metal part and pull them out/in ;) Without the need for the "special wood tool" :D

Im glad i could help :) They are realy nice :) Been using for 3 years now and they work flawlessly, just a little bit of wear on the grip itself. I think i grip them too hard haha :P Cheers!

The Oxford Grips are definitetly great quality, Heats very good, good grip, comfort, feeling and durable! But My question is in mouting it on a dealer waranty bike, does it void any waranty that comes with the bike?
@WolfMates5 жыл бұрын
I realy dont think it voids the warranty since it doesnt change anything on the bike. Just plugs in into the battery as any other acessory like auxiliary lights :) Thanks for watching!

Sure am :) much better than the chinese heated grips. And I must admit your video made me go for them :) Cheers!

I am considering installing these without glue and without removing the knobs on the throttle body, would this work?

Nice video mate. Don’t know how old your bike is. But the new benelli has a spare switch button on the handle bars you could have sent the wiring to that instead of the battery
@WolfMates3 жыл бұрын
Its from 2019 :) I would love to have the new facelift handlebars so I could connect the auxiliar lights and also the iluminated thing looks very nice :) I might order them one day hehe Cheers thanks for watching!
@michelemara75333 жыл бұрын
It would have been better a system with possibility to connect the the command on/off directly on one the existing auxiliary switch on the bike, without utility. Without external control box. It would be more clean...I believe. Good video !!
@WolfMates3 жыл бұрын
I agree :) There are some other options with the control button directly inserted into the grips itself :) No need for that big control panel :P About connecting the heated grips to the ignition, yes it would be better for sure, but since the oxford has a safety feature to prevent them to stay on after turning the engine off, i ended up installing directly into the battery has per the instructions. Cheers thank you very much for watching :) Ride safe!

Ciao!

You could use soap with water to put the grips. It will evaporate with time, please don't use grease or oil.

yeah grease or oil would be fun while riding lol :D Cheers!

hi lonewolf, 9months since you installed this Oxford heated grip. how is the thing right now? does it start to get issues? or worn down already?

It is a very bad idea to put sth. between throttle and grip. I have destroyed throttle grip and switches that way uforunately. My bad i did when it was cold. However throttle grip is very very thin and it is easy to put the screwdriver between handlebar and the throttle what will couse damage. The best way is to remove the grip by your fingers, water with soap and plastic thin elements. Cheers.

Thanks very much for your sugestions! :) Ive recently learn that compressed air was also nice to remove the grips and I did that on my TRK X :) It was realy easy :) Cheers ride safe!
