The review was detailed but I believe the last conclusion and some facts are not true. Why on the earth would you compare a duke 390 ADV with this? That might have more electronics but is it the need of the hour? It's the ride quality, decent distribution of torque, high speed stability, linear nature and capability to stay refined and not tire you is what makes an adv. The power to weight ratio, slipper clutch , ride by wire are things that make much more sense at track. In case of a fatal fall in a remote place, the TPS is last the last thing you want broken. This bike makes much more sense in terms of simplicity, refinement and fuel economy plus the engine is super smooth well until 7000 rpm (which no ones gonna visit often). 390 adv is single cylinder and probably wont change much in tune or even the ground clearance. Secondly, 236 kg is kerb weight, 216 is the dry weight, throw the saddle Stays and the crash guard it's well close to 206!!! Had versys or Vstrom come with these pre-equipped it would make it heavier. I have ridden a dominar with all fitting for touring and then this and I dont find such a weight difference they way the reviews say "heavy".

Is the bike reliable? does it cause lots of issues since it is manufactured in China..?
@motoroids5 жыл бұрын
No, it's fine
@akshaypai16025 жыл бұрын
Chinese provide wide ranges of quality at wide range of price. So when something is manufactured in china, please dont think it is like the cheap electronics. Fun Fact: Geely , chinese car manufacturer manufactures Harleys and Mercs QJ group ,parent of benelli, will also manufacture duke 790 for indian market to keep costs low. Though benelli is owned by QJ ,it limits to manufacturing and funding. Most of the engines are designed majorly in Italy where they HQ and done jointly in china with QJ. For every company manufacturing and operation costs matter and for all of them china is the destination.

@motoroids5 жыл бұрын
Extensive use of metal
@jassimassis75635 жыл бұрын
H2R is a sports bike and this is an adventure touring bike. An adventure bike will fall so they have to put on many metal parts. For covering the long distance, it should have the bigger tank. Altogether it makes the adventure machines so heavy. But this one is a bit too heavy compared to the peers.

This bike has an identity crisis issue; it is neither a capable off roader nor is it a capable tourer. Pretty disappointing from Banelli.
