Great job on this walkthrough! The attention to detail is evident when you mention a single step up on to the deck from the cockpit.

Really excellent review. I’d like to know more about the performance of the boat, but I’m very impressed with the internal space and external use of sailing. Great boat!

I can't understand how these big boats Beneteau, Jeanneau, etc ..., had an idea of nature and of feeling the wind, but none of them are delivered with solar energy independence, even today having technology to generate 800W per panel. Have they still not managed, after so long, to understand that candle does not combine with combustion generators?

Intresting, but I see no way to generate electricity. Does the boat rely on shorepower and a large battery bank?

Uhhh,... I'm kinda disappointed that the helm horizontal platform isn't self-trimming. And where is the ice maker and blender? But seriously, I guess I'm going to have to get one of these.

Looks like they took the coherently designed 41.1 and then couldnt figure out what exactly to do with the extra interior space in the 51.1. That lounge/nav station is terrible. The galley... uh? Deck layout is great. But those daybeds are going to look weird under a dodger. Glad they simplified the buttons for the swim platform.
@carlislejeffr3 жыл бұрын
The extra lounges up top are wonderful under the dodger. Keeps you nice and warm and yet you can fully lie down. Extremely comfortable. And the Nav station is the most comfortable seat in the salon! The leg section pops up under your knees and is completely amazing!
@crestfallengooner3 жыл бұрын
Impressive to look at but to me, the accommodation is something akin to an expensive British-made caravan. The nav station is too cramped for my liking and the galley storage cupboards doors appear not to be robust enough to hold anything of weight inside during rough sea conditions. From a 'sailing' point of view pretty good.
@billhanna88383 жыл бұрын
@@crestfallengooner When do you use a nave station now ? Im a delivery skipper & 99% of my navigating is on a screen , Once a day i put a waypoint on the chart & having a covered in dodger with some where to keep watch out of the aliments is a definite Yes .2 cabin version would be the bees knees . The only real problem is the sprit as i like removing the pick when doing ocean sailing , With a roller you can just lift the pick out , with the sprit its a bit of a job & of course the big problem with all these plastic factory jobs stringers & frames epoxy glued instead of the proper way glassed in for strength .

@@crestfallengooner Just one other thing its got the F/F in the right place , I just delivered a 50 ft. 2 year old Hanse (1,000,000$) Had every extra you think of 5000 miles & they have this ridicules' F/F sliding out port & starboard not for & arft so when they are full they are heavy , To stop them smashing out in a seaway on a port tack we had to do a quick tack over to open the fridge every time we wanted something , Nice in a marina , Looks good for the Miss's BUT who ever designed them has never been to sea ?

(sigh) Fantastic walkthrough! I’m sure you’ve heard this before; ‘Come on lottery!’
@Vinddraken3 жыл бұрын
Instead of lottery, try the stock market. Especially stocks with dividends that will generate new money over time. Sure in the beginning you just get a few pennys, but saving each month will generate enough Money after a while to buy new stocks of your dividend payouts and then the snowball starts rolling.
