Ingredients:
-Oil 1 Cup
-Aloo( Potatoes ) Pealed 5-6 Med
-Chicken (Mixed Cut) 1 Kg
-Namak( Salt ) As Per Taste
-Haldi( Turmeric Powder ) 1/2 Tsp
-Dahi( Yougert ) 1 cup
-Lal Mirch (Red Chili Powder) 1 Tsp
-Dhania (Coriander Seed Powder) 2 Tsp
-Haldi (Turmeric Powder) 1/2 Tsp
-Kashmiri Red Chili Powder 1 Tsp
-Namak (Salt) As Per Taste
-Dar Chini (Cinnamon Sticks) 2 Pieces Small
-Badi Elaichi (Black Cardamom) 2
-Taz Patta (Bay Leaves) 2
-Zeera (Cumin Seeds) 1 Tsp
-Sabz Elaichi (green Cardamom) 3-4
-Piyaz (Onion Chopped) 2 Med
-Adrak (Ginger Paste) 1 Tbsp
-Lehsan (Garlic Paste) 1 Tbsp
-Tamatar (Tomatoes Paste) 4-5
-Garm Pani (Hot Water) As Required
-Sabz Mirch (Green Chili) 3-4
-Garm Masala (All Spices Powder) 1/2 Tsp
Directions:
-Add Oil in the Wok.
-Add Peeled Potatoes in the Oil and sauté for 5 minutes.
-Remove the fried Potatoes and Set Aside.
-Add Chicken, Salt & Turmeric Powder in the Same Oil.
-Cook Chicken Until 35% to 40% Done.
- Strain & Set-aside in the bowl. Let Them Cool.
-Add Yogurt, Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder, Kashmiri Red Chili Powder & Salt in The Chicken.
-Mix Well & Marinate for half an hour.
-Add Cinnamon Sticks, Black Cardamom, Bay Leaves, Cumin Seeds & Green Cardamom in the Oil. Crackle for 2 minutes.
-Add Chopped Onions & Cook Until Light Brown.
-Add Ginger Paste & Garlic Paste in the fried onions and Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
-Add Tomatoes Paste and Cook until water dries up.
-Add Marinated Chicken and cook for 7 to 10 minutes.
-Add fried Potatoes in the chicken and further cook for 5 minutes.
-Add Hot Water in the chicken & Cover until both Chicken And Potatoes tendered.
-Add Green Chilies & Garm Masala Powder (All Spices Powder).
-Cover & Steam Cook For 5 Minutes.
-Bengali Chicken Jhol Is Ready To Serve.
