No the Bengals don’t need to run more often. But they do need to run more efficiently. If they do show they can be efficient running the ball, I think it would be a good idea to go more balanced when it’s working for them. Not only does that protect Joe, it gives the linemen a break from pass protecting all game. Linemen love to run block, get pancakes, blow defenders off the line. So I say we don’t need to run more, but we do need to run efficiently and if that happens, throw the big guys a bone.

One other area for Tee to improve is to reduce or eliminate the offensive pass interference calls he was flagged for. Hopefully Troy can work on his technique on breaks so he doesn’t push off as much.

In early base downs I rest Hendrickson and use Murphy. Not as a “starter” but as a chance to give Trey rest. Trey needs to be in every 3 rd and 4 or longer.
