If the Bengals have a Clinical Psychologist on staff, then both Mike Potts and whoever the psychologist is needs to be fired. Potts spoke with Kirby Smart and Nick Saban and they both warned him not to draft Burton. I guess Mike thought he was smarter than Saban and Smart. Zac Taylor held his coaching staff accountable, but no one in ownership and the front office has been held accountable. That is unacceptable.

The Bengals are NOT responsible for getting this man help. They ARE responsible for being dumb enough to draft him. He has to WANT help and seek it on his on if it will ever be effective, which it likely won't.

Burrow can't play with weapons he can't trust to be in the right place. He doesn't wait for people to get open, he throws it to the spot they're supposed to be. He's never going to be able to trust this kid. Trade him for anything you can and move along

Hated the pick. He was the LAST player I wanted on the team. I texted my friend immediately after the pick re: my disgust. Every mock draft I skipped him. as I had no interest in him. I don’t understand why we had to waste this pick when he was an obvious headcase. Funny how year before I mocked Iosivas in every draft I could as he has hire character, work ethic, and potential as I saw him as a #4 WR who was competent to fill in if guys were dinged up and we needed WR depth

Last year hardly counts as far as making the playoffs go in consideration of 9’s injury. All they have to do is be your average defense and we’re most likely deep into the playoffs. Good place to be for incoming D coordinator.

I wish there was a way to get thru to kids like Burton. I realize he’s a GAM but a lot of these college athletes are so pampered and under educated - and what I mean by that is not much focus on maturity issues. Chris Henry was one of my favorite Bengals. Played like Tee Higgins. But, off field…….RIP.

If another team can tame this kid and help him to a mature more responsible person he's going to be our opponent in the future with a chip on his shoulder with his on the field talent then he'll be a different problem for us

Exactly I think if he wins this case. and shows the team he wants to to be their guy. He will be that weapon for us. He just needs the support system and team around him. He's used to ppl giving up on him. so he's going to continue to act unguided until someone shows him that they will be there no matter what and love him unconditionally. Then we will see his talent shine.

Lou did not have the players but a move probably had to be made...BUT.. folks should be ready that installing learning and perfecting a new defense is gonna take time and for a team that MUST start strong this is concerning

That remains to be seen.Their defense was never any good.The 6 years Anarumao was there.Also,he was not ,Zac Taylor's first choice,to be his def coordinator.He was the 3rd choice.His first 2 choices,turned the job down.

I want Higgins,burrow and Chase to stay together permanently.Not just one year.However,there needs to be some injury clause,put in Higgins contract.He gets injured way too much.And misses a lot of games.

Tobin is a HUGE PROBLEM!! That’s been proven over the last 10 years in the draft and roster construction!! Fire Tobin now and invest in a scouting dept do that and you can start to fix the underlying issues.
