This has arguably been one of the best years of football we've had in a very long time. Every week, starting from the season opener, there was a game dubbed as game of the year. And that continued through the playoffs with an amazing divisional round and championship games. Now the Bengals and Rams are in the SB and I think most people are happy about that (happy that it isn't Tom Brady or Mahomes at the very least).

Don't know about the season because I boycott'ed the NFL for their PC'ness but the playoffs are definitely the best I have ever seen. Hope the Superbowl is as well! Hopefully they can win one more. It won't always happen like this - let's not forget how close they were to losing the regular season game against the Chiefs, and if that had happened they likely wouldn't have even made the playoffs. But it does feel like this is a team that is much better at winning loseable games than they are at losing winnable games, which is something Bengals fans haven't been able to say in a long time.

These Bengals remind me of my 2007 Giants. A 10-6 regular season, so had to go on the road. Beat the top seeds with the best offenses - Bucs, Dallas, and Green Bay. Even had the overtime game in the NFC Championship and won with a field goal. Giants had to beat a much tougher, undefeated 16-0 Patriots though whereas the Bengals face a tough but easier Rams. It really depends on which Matt Stafford shows up on Super Bowl Sunday because he can have stinkers.

As a Steelers fan, I've never really hated the Bengals. I hated Vontaze Burfict for what he did to AB, but I had no problem with the Bengals. It was fun calling them the "Bungles" over the years, but good on them finally figuring it out and repping the AFC North! Every now and then, a team takes their number 1 overall pick and actually produces. They better savor it while it lasts; Burrow is gonna be asking for Mahommes money soon enough. Ben never asked for nearly as much, but it was still tough keeping those pro bowlers on offense and defense around.

@@8020Alive Exactly JT! Not 7 points Or Even 3. You could tell looking at the Chiefs Players Eyes and body language going into the locker room that that Deflated them. It Also makes me Wonder what was Said in the Bengals locker room at Halftime. Their Defense Definitely Played Inspired in the second half. Tv stats Showed the Bengals held KC to 33 yards in the second half with just under 7 minutes to go in the game. Amazing, Unflinching Defense.

6:15... This, right here, was the turning point. Chiefs foresaw their inevitable collapse and tried to seal it early. Bengals adjusted and suffocated that offense completely. Joe Burrow & the offense were methodical BUT that Cincy defense was A+ to the very end. McPherson is🥶👍
