Why is no one talking about Zac Taylor having a losing record at home and terrible in September. Zac has the the most lopsided AFC North he loses all the time within the division. He had 1 good year in which our talent took us to the superbowl. I hope we don't keep him because of that. Good coaches win these games that are close. Zac stats against AFC North after Sunday 11-21. Zac Taylor 16-29-1 in games one score or less. Zac Taylor never has his team ready he is awful with personnel. I'm tired of this team under performing because our coach is playing checkers while the rest of the good teams in the league are playing chess. Green Bay had a superbowl winning coach with Aaron Rodgers and they still let him go. We lose another close game because of Zac he losses the locker room and I hope they speak up against him to ownership.

@gatorguy7gКүн бұрын
@@JFTB-i8y being prepared vs. Zac not being prepared they always looks awful the first 3 weeks of the season under him. And Taylor is 4-2 out of the BYE week. But since 2019 the year Taylor was hired the Bengals have been 11-21 against AFC North opponents. Dead last behind the Browns in that span being 16-15 Steelers 19-12 and Ravens 17-15. Taylor beats teams out of our division because they don't see us on the regular. Teams that do see him own him.

As soon as i realized that Zac wasn't worried about shortening the fg attempt, i had a bad feeling. At no point did i think mac was going to make it, not because he can't, but because it was a set up to fail. I was anticipating a bad hold, and just as i expected, muffed the hold. Henry didnt have to run that far, they were close enough to Tuckers range, a controlling factor when making the conservative decision to play to not lose.

I call BS on Zac Taylor about a plan to pass in the last series in OT. 1st down: the D line is stacked and corners close--obviously run defense and the Bengals are in run formation. 2nd down: Maybe a pass defense but burrow calls time out. They then run the ball up the middle for 3. I saw nothing that indicated burrow checked out of a pass play on 2nd. 3rd down: clear run defense with the line stacked, corners up and only 1 safety back. Bengals again in clear run formation. Result is no gain (how surprising). There’s no way they were going to pass on 3rd down. It was a run from the get go. I invite everyone to go back and watch this series of downs. Also, watch Taylor at the 6:40 mark of this video. First words out of his mouth were “we were in FG range”. Just listen to him. He clearly planned 3 run plays and I’ll never believe Taylor ever planned to pass. 3 pitiful runs for 3 yards, all for the opportunity to kick a 53 YARD FIELD GOAL. There’s confidence in your offense. Just awful.

you would think with how well the offense has played, the defense would be inspired to perform better. it's basically been the exact opposite of that. I have slight hope that this defense will start to play better........but will that even happen? if it does, then when will it happen? if this defense gets cooked by the giants (potentially without malik nabers), then that's an all time low. the most points the giants scored in a game this season is 29 points and 6 of those points came off of a blocked field goal return for a touchdown. the defense should feel some type of way that we are a witnessing maybe a historically great offense in front of our own eyes and their effort is being wasted because this college-level defense can't slow down (let alone stop) opposing offenses. with the way the offense has been playing, they shouldn't even be in down-to-the-wire games in the first place. completely pathetic.

I feel bad for Joe. I do. Burrow is getting paid very well for his time and talent. At least that's a consolation. Several QB's over the years have had bad players on their team. This is not strictly a Burrow thing. Too many QB's have had to carry the entire team which never works and it's not fair that they have to carry all of that weight. No pressure. Unfortunately, it's so common in every sport. Our defense absolutely sucks! I totally agree. It was so embarrassing that the defense couldn't sack Jackson even when they had at least 3 players surrounding him as he made an easy gain. Lou has lost his touch since the Super Bowl. We should have won the Chiefs game, but Anthony made a dumb move and let his excitement get the better of him. I feel pretty confident that, even though our defense sucks, in the long run Rehkow and then Zac cost us the game. Zac is a nice guy, but nice doesn't win games. The Brown family needs to tell him to let the OC make the calls. Also, Zac needs to consistently cover his mouth with his play call sheet every time he talks. I think he's the only NFL coach that is not good about remembering to do that and it could come back to haunt us. Too many lip reader experts out there. This is what ultimately ticks me off. Why are we spending so much money on a locker room and upgrades to the stadium when, if they continue to be this bad, fans will stop coming? Put that money into getting decent players. Better yet, get great players. One thing I wish the fans would stop doing every chance they get is to say we're going to the Super Bowl although I'm pretty sure no fan is right now. I almost feel we're jinxing the team. At this point, let's just focus on a winning season and not being blown out of the water. I love our "Who Dey" chant, but it's pretty dumb when we're playing so bad and pretty much every team can beat us.

No, the Bengals will re-sign Dax for his fifth year option seeing it as a low risk high reward gamble … however, they will unfortunately overlook the fact that he is still an unseasoned free agent still recovering from an ACL tear and reconstructive surgery… He will have another subpar year, then leave to another team and flourish. Meanwhile the bengals fail to replace him and have another hole.

Kinda crazy you guys are 1-9 against Lamar and only have had good seasons when Lamar is hurt. I’m not trying to hate, however you should’ve lost to Tyler Huntley in the playoffs. Seeing Burrow, Higgins and Chase wasted like this is a crime. Your front office really blew your SB window. No more salary cap once you pay Chase, same defense, same coaches because your owner is cheap and “poor”, and bye bye Higgins. 2025 season is gonna be hilarious.

This is crap in 19 and20 mahomes had one of the worst defenses in the nfl and they still won despite the defense. He got no excuses . When Dax throws for all these yards the call them empty calories !

I do not get the mentality, who cares if Burrow is balling, your losing games, what good is a great offense if your losing games. Mahomes is playong horrible but chiefs 5 and 0. One thing ill say tho Mahomes had a horrible defense his first 2 or 3 seasons and was winning...so was it really Burrow or the defense who got yall to those Afc championship????

It's the talent they let go and the talent they think can replace them. Hey Duke you let Larry go. You let Jesse go. D.J READER go. I'm telling you it's Duke is the problem. How does KC and Baltimore keep and get great talent. I'd fire Duke

The fanbase is really venting our frustrations here. It’s clear the loyalty to the team isn’t being matched by the leadership you’re seeing. Taylor’s conservative calls and the critical timing of Burrow’s turnovers have stirred quite the storm. It’s tough when the coach’s decisions feel like they’re holding back a potentially great team.. We as a fanbase are rooting for accountability transparency and no spinning...when we hear Zac and the Zac Taylor apologist it is so nauseating...This biting and devouring the defense to protect Zac's deficiencies has got to stop....

Bengals coaches are responsible for two of the bengals losses . Having superstars is not enough. Coaching is so important, that's why they make millions!! Look at coach Tomlin, he freaking finds ways to win. He made the playoffs last year with a lousy team. However Mr. Brown will keep worthless coaches forever! Zac's team is never prepared for the beginning of the season and he can't win games in his own division. Any franchise with a desire to win would get rid of him.

@@TedWesterfield Mike extended Andrew Whitworth but when Whit went to Katie & Troy Blackburn to put it to paper they told Whit he had to deal with Mike because they didn't agree with Mike extending Whit (even tho Whit was playing great). Troy Blackburn and Katie are why Whit decided to leave the Bengals. Whit said that he will always "love & respect Mike" Whit told this story in detail earlier this year in an interview that's posted on KZbin (search "Andrew Whitworth writes letter")
