Joe Burrow & Zac Taylor React to Week 3 LOSS | Bengals vs. Commanders

The Cincinnati Bengals lost to the Washington Commanders 38-33 on Monday night. Jayden Daniels completed 21-of-23 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 40 yards and a score. His best throw of the night was a 27-yard touchdown to Terry McLaurin that sealed the win for Washington. It was a vintage performance by Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase. The star duo combined for touchdowns of 41 and 31 yards.
Burrow completed 29-of-38 for 324 yards and three touchdowns. Chase had six receptions on seven targets for 118 yards and two scores.
The Bengals play Andy Dalton and the Panthers in Carolina on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. ET.

I still have big issues with Zac and his scheme/play calling but am starting to think that LOU might be more suspect/guilty of having true talent on hand with a lack of production!!? Defense has a few good plays/take aways through 3 wks but… WK 1 - secondary defense missed multiple big play tackles with run defense and gave up multiple explosive pass plays. WK 2 - defense lacked overall run support and had multiple penalties with “big impact” (aside from Chase on offense) WK 3 - absolutely no answer for yet, again, another rookie QB. I thought our D would be bad against the run because of our banged up IDL not because of missed tackles by secondary 🤷🏽‍♂️ and for the record - I’m getting tired of trying to root for Dax Hill. Natural position, where Mike Hilton plays.

Zac Taylor captured lightening in a bottle for 2 seasons and got to 1 Super Bowl. BUT, his teams are 1-11 starting the first 2 games of the season. Last year we lost the AFC North in the first 2 games of the season. People blabbing unrealistically about "we're going to the Super Bowl" ignoring our slow early season struggles and the absolute putrid defense we had last year. The team made some bad personnel issues like letting Jessie Bates walk along with Von Bell. We have a bad O line coach. Anarumo has lost his mojo. He had a good defense when he was getting all his free agents and draft picks the first few years while the O line was ignored other than some questionable free agents and draft picks. You win by having dominant O lines and D lines. Realistically we should be 2-1 and probably 3-0 with the schedule and talent we have. I'm sorry but Zac running this team into the ground. We have 2 chances for the playoffs slim and none and slim is out of town.

Offense was fine other than the missed fg by so called money mac, not gettin tds on a cpl drives. The defense couldnt stop nothin. That was the worst defense i seen since before marvin lewis. Absolutely terrible. Lou is overrated, ctb needs to quit talkin crap if hes gonna get torched every game, what they did with dax and turner was stupid, and geno stone is just not it. Pass rush was non existent. Just terrible all around defense

Lack of accountability in this press conference is disappointing. Defense being incredibly vulnerable on all fronts is disappointing.
