I visited Bangalore from Hyderabad and was shocked to find such horrible roads. Especially the roads that go from Kempegowda Airport to Anekal via Varthur and Sarjapura. Roads near Chandapura Lake were craters. And my SUV’s wheel alignment went for a toss. And roads in Varthur and even Whitefield were filled with so much dust! Felt really bad for two-wheeler folks and those travelling by autos. I won’t be surprised if people in Bangalore suffer breathing issues or lung issues after a few years due to road dust. The potholes can cause serious injuries to speeding bikers. And most speed-breakers are not painted! Driving in beloved Bangalore is a real-life video game in which commuters have to overcome an obstacle course and they have to memorise where the speed-breakers are, for their own safety. Regretted driving down to Bangalore in my four-wheeler. Hats off to the patience and tolerance of those living in Bangalore in such pathetic conditions.

Bangalore is metro only in papers, it has bad roads since decades, no water supply to many areas and solely rely on water tankers, no walk able footpaths except for the old city areas, no proper metro and suburban connectivity, traffic problems almost everywhere and all the time in weekdays. The older leaders (including the Britishers) had done a great job is building long lasting infra, but all the successive leaders / govt have consistently failed in thinking ahead of time and providing sustainable development to the residents.

Thanks for covering this topic of multiple stretches of bad roads. I would really suggest you to cover the area I stay in i.e. Kasavanaahalli and Rayasandra lake road. It is used everyday by thousands of people. Many accidents, many injuries happened over the past 5 years and the road conditions only worsened. I can try to share a video or photo of the area. You don't even have to find a pothole. The entire stretch is without a road. Thanks again

You missed Sarjapur Ambalipura Road brother...the entire stretch from Manipal hospital till Sarjapur police station is rigged with patchy road work, potholes...its a shame that we celebrate 77 years of freedom but what we really have achieved is absolute corruption.... I'm very happy that finally someone revealed the real reason of traffic everywhere...vehicles dont come to stop of roads, roads are meant for movement but the condition of roads are not allowing smooth movement, hence the traffic is all the more congested and unpredictable.

Huskur Fruit Market Road going towards Singena Agrahara is full of portholes, you don’t find a stretch out there which is without portholes, There are many educational institutions out there that causes traffic as well and imagine travelling on portholes with traffic on the head, that will only cause nightmares

Poor underpass fills in every now and then and the parallel road is a muddy river where you have to drive risking life a night !!! *I think some standards have to be set for construction of roads and also guidelines should be issued as to how the roads have to be constructed so that they don't end up blocking the existing roads or creating more problems to people. Also make laws where the MLAs of that region are held responsible and fined so that they don't repeat such mistakes. But for all this the leaders making these laws should be very very honest so that proper implementation happens.*

These potholes are nothing compared to the sinkholes and craters that are in Arakere, localites have had to fill these 2 feet deep sinkholes with construction waste to avoid people from losing their lives. I told my kid a joke about roads in our area, in UK people drive on the left side of the road, but in India, we drive on what's left of the road. My kid's school is less than 500 meters from our house but we can't walk to it because the path is riddled with sinkholes, no footpaths and heavy traffic that makes it highly dangerous for pedestrians.

I request you to please look at the condition of service road that connects Iblur Junction towards HSR layout. In many pathes there are potholes so bad that half width of the road is rendered un usable. A simple solution is to file RTIs to know what money was sanctioned for that stretch and how was it spent.

The whole Bangalore city ( except Vidhana Soudha, Town Hall and a few areas in central Bangalore) have got severe bad roads. This is the only city in India which posses poor infrastructure, bad roads and adequate public transport despite being the highest generating revenue city in India. I've been living in Bangalore from past 14 years seen this city shying away from being promoted to better aforementioned levers.

The Nagawara junction is always clogged, be it morning or midnight. Signals turn green, a few vehicles pass somehow, and it again turns red. Thanks to the junction that is literally road less. And when it rains, it is a pond with no even surface beneath.
