Better to give reusable cups which are cleaned and sanitized properly. Fruit skins can be composted to make fertilizers. So zero wastage. Most people will not eat the shell and throw it in dustbin... Also I noticed you have to leave quite a bit of fruit in the shell itself that will be wasted.

Although one cannot deny it is a unique experience and I too would pay a premium to drink juice out of a fruit every once in a while, I doubt it is as environment-friendly as the owner claims it to be. From what I have seen, most juice shops in Bangalore serve juice in juice mugs made of glass, which will be washed and reused, so that is essentially zero waste. Why call this one 'zero-waste' when the common juice center in your street generates less waste?

@@sandms95 Guess you have not lived in Chennai then...If you live there You will start realizing the importance and scarcity of water...And the waste which you are talking about would be generated anyways for making the juice...Through this idea scarce water wasted in washing glass mhgs everytime and paper which uses a lot of water and cutting if trees for making paper cups and polluting plastic which doesn't degrade in environment has been eliminated...Wonder why people can't appreciate this...
