Very good technology, but until people learn the lane discipline , none of the technology helps for Bangalore traffic. First & for the most important is that govt & traffic police has to educate the seriousness of lane discipline and strict rules to follow the same to avoid traffic violations can help something. Of course road infrastructure also needs to improve as well.

This will not help sir, My suggestion Rapid development and investment in Metro trains Identify roads whr thr is possibility of road widening and start immediately Registration of new vehicles Only for people with proper parking space Develop sense of lane discipline ( which I think it's difficult for country like India), but we have to give a try Lastly can be the heading of ur video (intelligent signal system)

Majority of the traffic jam is attributed to worst roads. Let the authorities fix that and traffic congestion will reduce on its own. Ofcourse drivers have to drive with concern for other road users. Else God also can't resolve this mess.

No amount of modern technology will change the situation until strict adherence to traffic rules by drivers, pedestrians and street vendors is implemented. Even before that ensure standadised right to road is laid and citizens, implementors are made aware of it. If expecting people to follow rule without major consequences for breaking rules is foolish. Importing technologies will just be an excercise in making way for futile expenditure. *My advice import japan and other developed countrie's law makers, implementators and citizens ATTITUDE before importing costly technologies*
