Hey Ben, here's a little trick that might help you next time you get sea sick. While on the boat or whatever look at the horizon; it's the only thing that will not be moving while you and your nearby surroundings are , and will remain in it's real position. Everything else is not moving in relation to you but is in reality, so the brain gets confused. It's how I like to explain it and definitely works. Next option is to go for a swim, which you did :). Awesome trip man, think about watching these memories in the future!

Fun stuff guys. Little bit like Naked and Afraid just frozen surf adventure style. Went up for help-ski a few years back and stopped at the tidal bore off Seward highway where you were first. Way to keep the dream and believe vibe alive - sweet testimony to manifesting and as laird says life as your own art form. I chipped in for that beauty and effort of going boldly and with courage and humor. Nicely played sir!

The cure for sea sickness is to keep your belly full. Food, in a full stomach, does not move around. Dry bread, is a good stomach filler and carrying a little extra weight from those extra calories might keep out the cold, in the short term ! But, of course put, pressure on the joints in anyone that moves around a lot .

Entertaining video. I live in Alaska, used to live in Santa Cruz. Where is this in Alaska? I'd like to know that. And I'd like to see a longer general view of the boat. Did you check the temperature of the water? I'm guessing right around 48. Not that cold! Extra points for the Pendleton Glacier National Park blanket at the beginning! Made in Oregon!

I bought a Hyperflex cryo vyrl 5/4 wetsuit back in December and in only just one season of use, I've got a lot of seams and stitching falling apart to the point where I need to repair it with wetsuit glue or something. Been surfing at least once to twice a week in NJ all winter and Im really not beating on the suit at all, I take care of it. I had an Xcel 5/4 last me 5 years +, but this thing might only last one or two more winters for me...

Funny… so true about the cold water to get out of sea sickness. Also works with severe I.B.S.. would jump into my pool at 40’s water to get out of the pain and cramps, works most often then not. Seeing Ben do that brought back memories. Just don’t over eat and love cold salt water. 🥳😂🎉
