I agree that the late great Merle Haggard was a great Singer and has written some outstanding songs Mama Tried and Okie From Muskogee two highlights . Some credit must be given tho to the other writers who gave him thier songs Particularly The Fugitive which is a lyrical masterpiece .

back in the 1980s i lived in cincinnati my doctor only listen to 60s 70s and 80s country music i never heard anything else come out of the speakers i was young one day i was in the office and i was the only white dude in there about 8 or 9 old black people was in there tapping there feet to merle merle haggard god bless america

OMG. They are freaking good.. The most incredible voices I have heard for a long time.. Merle would be so proud.. Real country music always puts a smile in my soul. I love them.. I think Merrell hagar boys are great! They are up there with Keith Whitely and Ben is great on his dad's old fender God I wish I had that guitar I have been playing music since I was 10 years old some of the first songs I learned was Merrell hagar he is one of my favorite artists I did get see him and gorge Jones in Winston-Salem in the 80s they were great!thankful you can keep the memories of your dad's music I really love to hear it and try to play it also Timmy Ray Green keep up the great work yall doing
