Just starting to catch up with this latest series, I notice you've seen Lucy too, so that's brill, give her my best regards. Now you did promise, last time you were in Benidorm, that you'd be staying at Don Pancho - you gonna head there soon?? Not stayed at Flamingo Beach Resort, my mate wanted too, as the rooms are very decent size. I said it's a bit of a trudge away from what we need and want, and that is each time - so when you are there for a week or more it's not practical. Anyway, take care Kevin, enjoy.

Hi Kev, with regards to the pool size at Flamingo Beach, there is actually a third pool at the side which you obviously never noticed and its larger than the two pools you showed us. 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

i stayed flamingo beach in April but Benidorm was too cold to properly enjoy the place back end of June hopefully proper weather, the med never used to be so hit and miss especially in late April..

My wife and I have been going there since 2021, can't fault it , yes the food is not the best all the time, but you can say that about most Spanish hotels in Benidorm, we had a major issue in 2022, and the hotel couldn't do enough for us , oh and there are 3 pools! The one outside the main hotel is by far the best ,we are back there in July and September, enjoying the streams, Mr B

Hi Kevin if the food is half decent I'd pay that price for 7 nights the only problem for me as you mentioned i llke a pool you can swim good lengths in otherwise its a massive let down you mentioned the Castilla i stayed in that no problem only the pool was to small for my liking. We came here probably 8 years ago when it was Marconfort Essence.Its nice but i personally prefer Sandos suits round the corner which was also a Marconfort Hotel back then. 😅

You've missed one of the pools Kevin !!! It's actually the biggest one, as you walk towards the entrance of the building It's on the left hand side, there's a wee self service bar there too if you're all inclusive. Regarding location, I believe it's ideal as it's a very quite area. You walk out to the back of the hotel, take a left by the Titanic then first right and you're at the top of the strip. Go the other way, left out the front door and you can traverse diagonally towards the beginning of the old town, about a ten minute walk too. Can confirm the food is excellent and local spirits are absolutely fine too. Would definitely go back there, highly recommended although the Sandos suites across the road had a busier vibe.

Your right about sockets at the beds.riu palace meloneras 5*,no USB ports at all.had to pay for a safe.apparently it’s getting a 3 month renovation.what can be done in 3 months😳.ohhh your up in the clouds.

I presume they've took the bedroom door out, so you can pivot the TV from being in the lounge in to the bedroom. Bit of a cheapskate thing to do. It's very small for a junior suite.
