Love the videos. I think bars & shops are wanting cash only, due to the fees that banks are wanting for card payments, its costing small businesses a fortune. It's the same here in the UK , there is a drive by smaller businesses to accept cash as first form of payment. I think its funny watching your videos, as you can spot the tourists in shorts and Tshirts and the locals normally have long trouser, jumper & jackets on at this time of year......cant wait to visit again, booked for late march and booked for a week over New Year....Cant wait....😀

Probably that is true, there are fees for every payment, doesn’t matter how small or big it is. But then why say customers were complaining of charges on the board 🤔 That’s how we know in winter who the tourist is, we wear scarfs and autumn/winter clothes 😄

Funny thing, I actually know it’s with an I, but since Spanish say - Pinta, I automatically spell it the same way in English when I talk fast, no matter how I try, it always comes out the same way 😁

Oh I think it will take a long time still… the plan is there, but the city is exploring the possibility to create an underground parking, as Alicante has, but until they receive safety reports, etc, it will be a while, once the project will start - minimum a year

Is the Guinness Bar and the Jolly Roger owned by the same people? The wording of the cash only signs are identical. Personally, I prefer paying with phone / card and rarely carry cash.
