We just love this end. We stay just over the hill in Hotel La Cala which is so restful. Great to walk the whole way to new town and dander back. Perfect promenade.

Great video. That area has changed so much, we last walked to Cala finestrat about 2 years ago and I don’t recall seeing a lot of the bars and restaurants on the way, we will definitely venture down again when we are back in September xx

We stayed there for 2 month over Easter & we loved it the Easter church paradise, a triathlon, it was so traditional, we also stayed in the old hotel Delfe which was beautiful, so sad they are knocking it down…happy days lovely memories ❤️❤️❤️

The usual super informative insight into our favourite place, Lucy. The far end of the Poniente is always a surprise to anyone we take down there. It bursts the myth of Beni being all "Blackpool by the Sea" Looking forward with interest to see it's future❤

We always stay at Poniente side now lucy. Your right its a million miles different from levante. Our last visit we walked right to the end as far as you could go. What they have done where you were stood at start underneath the curved walkway they have now finished the wooden walkboards they follow shape of concrete walkway above very nice you can get a bit of shade in areas under there. Nice vlog well done.

Great video Lucy, sadly this part of Benidorm is rarely filmed on here,however I watched with a tinge of sadness when I saw the Delfin hotel all boarded up. I belive it was one of benidorms oldest hotels and my family loved staying there. Thanks again for the walk down memory lane. X

Poniente Beach is more up market for sure, but I do like Levante beach, because of the atmosphere along the promenade and there is a buzz for sure….😎 But the Balcón del Mediterráneo, gets my top vote for watching the world go by with a glass of cold beer or a glass or two of red wine 🍷

A'reyt Lucy. I can imagine the themes from Benidorm TV series and Miami Vice and can guess why they want a bit of the Miami vibe. I cannot imagine the tourists these days in those clothes from the US series though. If it were Dubai they would be building the "Valencia keys" as islands with bridges out to Peacock Island. They could put expensive exclusive hotels on them too.

Love your videos!! I wanted to offer a new name for Benidorm, its Beniami ! ( Benidorm-Miami ). I think its an uplifting name and is similar to other Spanish towns names that end in "a" Malaga, Vanencia, Murcia, etc etc,,, anyways, keep up the good work and videos! We are two guys moving from Florida to Benidorm! Have a place there, just figuring out the move for maybe 2025!

Hi lucy, yes i was thinking exactly the same as yourself when i was on the poniente beach from around la cala to finistrat in june, the whole area is changing and becoming upmarket in its look and style, the hotels currently going up look a mix between what you see in say miami or dubai, probably not to the mega sites u see in them places like although still very grand Like you mentioned though the beach in that area is much busier now in fact it was a nightmare to park haha

We much prefer the Poniente end of Benidorm. The new town is great for entertainment at night, but Poniente is much more relaxing (and a lot more Spanish).

Hi Lucy we are staying in our favourite Hotel at the moment the H10 Porto Poniente Old Town, i gave you a negative comment about always filming the new town Beach not enough coverage of the Poniente Beach end of Benidorm 2 days ago you must have listened the Poniente Beach is by far the superior beach as it's not full of Drunk British Stag and Hen Do
