Missed one,,, reducing inside volume. On mini lathe drill hole inside plastics check valve j.b. weld wooden dowel plastic pin or mettle stud your choice .now needs to be small enough to slide inside of spring adjust length so poppet when firing doesn't make contact can reduce volume at least what you changed it by not screwing all the way together.

Question couldn't you use teflon tape to seal and hold the two halves and put a rubber o ring spacer?

My benjamin just says 392 not 392pa, are they the same thing? Does mine have aluminum or bronze values i think it was made in 2016

2016 is a PA, and it should have the brass valve. If it turns out to have the aluminum valve, just order a new one from Crosman. The new ones are brass, and they are not expensive. I like keeping a spare anyway.

@@Possumliving mine also isn't engraved instead it has a yellow serial number. Im worried mine is fake, I bought it from ebay it was listed as a 392pa

Thanks! It's primarily an efficiency mod, but by increasing efficiency you also pick up some power. I'm getting about 16 fpe with 14.3 grain CPHPs.
