What a climax! I was very surprised, didn't expect such a grandeur and virtuosic piece at all from Godard. We note that it is dedicated to a student of his, Etiennette Fernet. This is a female student, and in combination with a modest written "allegretto" the tempo should really not be too high here, it is also not really necessary. The dynamic range is huge in this piece, which makes it difficult to perform on basically anything else than an actual real grand in a nice room or hall. I tried it simply on the upright. The truth is that the impact and nice feeling while playing really comes from those virtual instruments here. It just needs that fat sound in the climax! Ok I found this piece some hours ago so the performance is not exactly very good, but, as always the process of eliminating all those little mistakes in hand position and even distribution of energy is where the whole work lies - and the professionality. Respect to all those people working patiently on a piece for weeks or months! This performance should be "enjoyable" though, and one of the few performances of this piece. Oh no, not to think about how criminally underrated these composers are! I mean nobody probably knows that this piece exists, not even music professors!!! It's a nice piece of music and also a good time document.
Further notes, some small glitches happened in the climax section (which I didn't notice while playing and recording) and in the end I think i played an a octave, but it should be b ..
