I was a student of Ben Lo in the 80's in San Francisco. He was always laughing. A sweet man and a powerful mover of Chi, he could push me over with the touch of a single finger.

What a pity you didn't take any video. Could you mention more about your master's? My teacher and Master Lo were students to Grand Master Chen.

This is beautiful. I am just starting out on my tai chi journey learning from one of his students and watching this just shows how beautiful tai chi flows together and i hope to achieve it one day.

Many would say that Benjamin Lo was one of the most accomplished students of Cheng Man Ch'ing, true to his master and his art form. Thank you so much for uploading this video, this is a rare archive video that should be preserved.

Cheng Man Ching's calligraphy was outstanding. Ben Lo saw one at my club and asked to have it. The fluidity and power of Tai Chi were apparent in his calligraphy.

Immaculate form by a modern Master who I am sure will be sorely missed.

Thank you so much. If you search for CMC Tai chi, you can see the rest of this video: the form broken down, very precisely, with verbal instructions in Chinese. I am still sad that I never got to study with him, just with his students, but these videos are the next best thing.

My teacher was one of Ben's students also. I had the privilege of attending one of Ben's camps with my teacher in Salisbury, MD in 2004.

why does he hide all of the forms? In this day and age the form should be reveled in it's entirety.

I wonder when this was recorded? Having met Ben around 1973, he appears different to my eyes here.

liveless - static - almost no flow - clumsy! just compare to CMC ! Even a robot from Boston Dynamics can do it like this! Many disciples called him „ Bent Lower“ I am sure you know why!

I was in San Francisco when Ben Lo came there. I took classes from him. He was CMC's best student. I have felt the power of his chi. I have studied Tai Chi since 1974 . I have practiced both long form and CMC form and "push hands" for many years. If you can not see the excellent demonstration of Tai Chi principles he exhibits you are sitting too low in the "back seat".
