Hey Rick. This has been a gun I have been excited about ever since I heard the announcement Crosman was coming out a semiauto PCP. I was worried about the trigger, but sounds like something someone can live with.

I own a gen 1 & gen 2 in .25 & a gen 2 in .177 , all good reliable PCPs , I would have purchased the semi-auto but your last video doing distance shooting with slugs with the FX Impact MK II changed my mind , I have one on order ! In my opinion, Slugs are the future for Airguns !

Slugs are definitely getting better. My Hatsan 135 .25 shoots slugs amazing in a break barrel! Although I think there’s always a place for pellets. Depending on what you’re doing pellets are better. I’d use pellets for plinking and for small game hunting in areas with houses closer, etc. Now for woods hunting, or field hunting, then slugs are perfect.

I watch Donnie Baker's video on the same gun Rick he had the same problem with the velocity on the first shot he contacted Benjamin says you must push the forward assist every time you load a new magazine and the problem goes away.

I hated the lack of a stop on the trigger before it fires so I made a position adjustable ‘3rd stage trigger stop. I bought two MEETOOP Spring Pluger Locking Pins from Amazon ($10). The pins’ initial push weight is 1 Lbs. I adjusted the trigger position full back (see the owner’s manual). Drilled a hole in the lower portion of the straight vertical rear section of the trigger guard so the lower portion of the trigger would hit the pin when it was pulled. The hole was just big enough to allow a lock pin to screw into the guard’s soft material. The hole could have been bigger, but I wanted it to screw in. The pull ring interfered with my fingers, so I took off the pins pull ring and replaced it with a short-bent wire to hold the pin in place. I screwed in the pin w/ a supplied nut both in front and behind the trigger guard. Screwed the lock pin out a small amount so that the trigger stops when it hits the pin and only travels a short distance before it fires. I now have a perfect semi-auto trigger with a light pull, a clear stop and a letoff at 3-1/4 Lbs with minimal travel at the stop. The pull weight should be adjustable with both the factory settings and the pins spring length if you want.

How do you take a shot and not chamber a pellet? This for safety. The bolt action Benjamin Marauder seem to have more control for each shot?

Sweeeeeet (SAM) rifle from Benjamin, Rick! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!!! Is the regulator adjustable and/or is the hammer spring adjustable? Did I see a Allen key hole at the rear? I would love to be able to shoot the JSB 18.1 gr. or the Crosman Ultra 19 gr. at 880 to 900 FPS. Can you let us know if this is possible? I know this is a Benjamin/Crosman video but I have to ask, how long before we see the long range testing of those U****x products?

Oh, as for the first shot every time you reload a mag, you have to use the "Forward Assist" -- you have to push it forward. That way, all shots will be consistent. I got this from (5:52) " Baker Airguns": kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGmUk4qdgteVoaM
