How to service the Benjamin Recharge PCP compressor.
Cooling system flush and oil change.

I called up crossman and asked them about the white debris floating around in the water and I was told by a technician that it's just residue from the lithium grease that use in the system and it was harmless.

The instructions say to change the main output filter, located just under the pressure gauge. I tried to unscrew the hexagon shaped adapter and gauge but it wasn't budging and I'm afraid of breaking something. How important and critical is it to replace this filter?

2020 has messed up so many of my plans. I was planning on getting a compressor and my own casting equipment but so many other things became more of a priority... I still plan on purchasing some 457 for my Texan from you as well.

So you had trouble getting the proper amount of new oil into the unit. Next time you change the oil just measure the amount of oil you drain from the unit. This amount should be very close to the amount of new oil you will need to add for the refill.

Is it me, or does the motor and piston assembly remind you of the yong heng? Honestly it doesn't seem much quiter, and if i recall they are about the same speed. Seems this is just a more, self contained unit.. did I just talk myself into a yong heng?

I purchased the same compressor, and I noticed that mine came with the water already inside the water tank, but it had all kinds of white particles inside the water tank. Oil is not filled so I purchased the correct oil before I even think about turning the machine on. However I am definitely going to flush and try to clean all that nasty white debris inside the tank and water lines. I couldn’t find True Distilled water and I noticed you used Purified Drinking water. Is it okay to use Purified Drinking water or maybe even Anti freeze 🥶? 🤔 Please I would really appreciate anyone who know to answer my question. 😎👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🎥🍿✊

I bought this same compressor from watching your video and another video on KZbin have the same problem with the particles in the water must have came from the factory cuz mine did it too and I used distilled water from my lab whare I work I also have an issue with my pressure gauge on the compressor doesn't reach 4500 wondering where I could get a replacement I called Benjamin and they said I'd have to ship the compressor back any help would be great thanks!

I believe its the same gauge that comes on most PCP compressors... I've had several now and they have all been the same.
