It's especially wild since the Lobby is arguably the harder part of the mission, with less cover and tougher more plentiful enemies. For V to be in that R and D lab, they had to Kill at least 20 Arasaka Special forces units and 2 heavy mechs ALONE. They were likely aware the upper floor was being attacked, but that kind of absolute carnage committed against the Night City's most powerful megacorp would seem like an impossibility for one person alone. Then their panic likely only deepens when said madperson decides to plug a Rogue AI from beyond the wall directly into their server, killing hundreds (including innocents) instantaneously. There may even be a glimmer of hope for some of them when they realize THE Smasher is coming to personally handle the pro-- AAAAND he's gone, all gone. Poof! 😂😂.

It feels so nice, you tend to forget how hard early cp2077 on very hard was. Like a small group of 3-4 valentinos or 6th street felt like the hardest fight before getting a proper build so this line is like a 'oh shit, i really made it.'

All because V didn't even actually survive, they died the second they plugged into Mikoshi's access point where a very flawed copy of V's personality based on what little of their undamaged and unaltered brain tissue is made and disentangled from the other personality construct so that the copy of V can live for 6 months in their place. It feels like a kick to the mouth, V just did the impossible, they rose from the dead and took the world's most powerful corporation head on by themselves and not even a chrome laden champion, a literal night city legend who survived a nuke; could do anything to stop them. All of that just for ChatGP.V to walk out of the building in V's body 😭

@@mrfancyshmancy all along the watchtower V is still also only a copy, a better quality copy if they didn't ever relinquish control to Johnny (thus probably why they don't seem as physically worn in this ending vs the PoG ending) but a copy nonetheless. It makes the Star ending VERY dark with surrounding context. V sacrificed 3 family members one of which being the leader of their friend/lover's clan and her father figure and that's not to mention any unnamed Aldecaldos who died during the raid. Then V got probably a thousand Arasaka employees killed, some of which were innocent because AIAlt didn't discriminate with the slaughter, and then they handed over a massive amount of processing power as well as the information of all the engrams stored in Mikoshi (all of which being hyper influential people in life, or highly skilled netrunners) to a Rogue AI who has explicitly said on multiple occasions that it's NOT Alt, that it only looks and behaves like Alt to V because it consumed her engram and Johnny's mind is seeing Alt as a defense mechanism, remember the Net is raw data and what humans see inside it is all perception. Alt says as much at the start of the star ending as well "you lose nothing, it's your perception of cyberspace that changes, the longer you stay, the more your mind's defenses gradually fade away." Idk how often the Eldritch entity needs to tell people it's an Eldritch entity before they realize it's an Eldritch entity and not the actual ghost of Alt Cunningham.

My favorite bit of this is Johnny's line of "Startin' to think this plan wasn't batshit crazy after all!" It just sums up the mood of this ending so well. He pitches the Reaper ending as basically a suicide, but one where you don't take any of your friends with you. That is literally his selling point to V, to try and convince them to choose it. "We're going to die...soon...why take our loved ones with us? When we can die on our own, in a blaze of glory?" So he really doesn't think you'll pull it off. But then you clear the first floor with minimal effort and he's like "...holy shit, this might work!" And you can just kind of picture his face being like 😮😃😃😃

Seeing you utilize this turret at 2:37 feels like a reference to the first reaper vid in which you used that. I enjoyed the confused moment at 5:01 when things didn't go your way for a split second. I also like the game interface edit at 8:39 and the confetti edit 9:05 The ending was dope as if everything you went through was all a dream. Bro camo with electric monowire instantly disabling robots and hitting the mechsuits with the unalive hack must be some of their worst nightmares. Even wiping Smasher's memory. I'm pretty sure he's supposed to have 3 health gates. It looks like the 2nd takedown glitched his boss stage and skipped the 3rd health gate, which is probably why he was invincible at the end. He's not supposed to go from 50% to 5%.
