Wieder gut eingefangen, Benjamin. Bei dieser Baustelle haben sie echt nichts anbrennen lassen, da ging es rucki-zucki, runter vom Lkw und sofort ran ans Werk. Das Kettengeklopfe macht mich bei dieser Raupe schier wahnsinnig. ;-) Dieses Back-Up-System hat wirklich einen grausigen Klang, aber genau damit erfüllt es seinen Zweck sehr gut. Ich frage mich allerdings, wie man herausgefunden hat, dass gerade dieses sonderbare Geräusch so ideal funktioniert... Auf jeden Fall ist die Wirksamkeit dieses Systems hier im Video gut zu erkennen. :-))

Ich hab noch nie gesehen dass jemand so langsam mit der Raupe fährt, obwohl es verständlich ist, man will ja nicht am Rand hängen bleiben xD Aber das Rattern der Ketten stellt mir jedes Mal die Nackenhaare auf ;)

Feinplanie mit Dauerkontrolle der Lagendicke - da habe ich unter solchen Bedingungen aber keinen je schneller fahren sehen. Eher langsamer 🙃

Vielen Dank Ralf! Montag bin nach Wehr am Hochrhein durch den Hochschwarzwald gefahren. War wunderschön verschneit und die Straßen früh morgens schon gut geräumt, bis auf ein paar vereiste Stellen auf der B317.

Great video Ben! Any idea why they have triple bar grousers on that machine? I love that you guys put side plates on the blade to carry more material. I don't know why more people don't do that here in the states.

I don't know why they use those triple bar plates. They are good for softer grounds. I saw those side plates rarely in Germany too. They're not so common as in the decades before.

My best guess is it's so that tracks don't tear up the surface after making a pass with the triples on it the surface will stay mostly smooth and also compact a bit as well

Nee, habe noch nie so viele auf einer Baustelle dieser Größe gesehen. Da ist alles durchgeplant udn durchgetaktet. Dir noch eine schönes Bergfest!
