Love Wednesday , However Id love to see BOTH teams in the premiership, we are the fourth biggest city and we have the oldest club in the world still playing here , The passion from both clubs fans would be a major boost to the premiership

South Yorkshire it self is a special hub of Football ... yes the rivalries are intense All the red and white clubs hate the Blue and white Wednesday but we have 5 Pro clubs within 30 miles of each other if there was One club in this radius we would fill a 100k seater stadium

SWFC - Yesterday was great, another battling and deserved win. It was very helpful that Plymouth lost, now we've formed a gap on them. You mentioned both of us went down in 20/21, that was the season with no fans. You can see how important fans are to the city.

As a blade, I’m still not 100% confident of going up, moreover it’s very possible that we come straight back down. Need some quality adding to the current team to compete. Wednesday are doing really well and will easily go up as champions, I reckon they would do well in the championship ( look at Sunderland this season for instance). Here’s hoping for both clubs!🙇🏼‍♀️🧎🏼

I can remember a time when some supporters used to visit Bramall Lane one Saturday and then Hillsborough the next. Partisanship wasn't as strong as it is now. Both clubs however should be in the Premier League, so let's hope they both get there.

Fantast podcast and as a sheff wed supporter i would l8ke to say all the best to the other side of sheff. My reason for that is simple i can see them struggling in the prem and going down and i can see us going up so a div switch in our fav. So i will now just talk wednesday and start with big Daz and what he has done to our team. He has built a side that knows how to win and in doing so its built a squad the is standing tall. We have some difficult games coming up but so do they.

Cheers BB. Once the bookies have something at 6to1 on it’s looking pretty certain that’s for sure! From a Wednesday perspective give we only need 1.5ppg now for 92 points and are sat at 2.2ppg for the season we would need the mother of all meltdowns to not make it from here. Blades are a little less certain I suppose but only fractionally. Once you get to this end of the season the chasing pack rapidly run out of road. No Sheffield Derby next year IMO.

We've seen Sheffield Wednesday beat Newcastle, and Sheffield United beat Tottenham. I got to say both teams look good enough for the premiership. Also think Bannan and Norwood are two of the best passers in the country. Especially Bannan his passing range is one of the best I've seen this season. His vision is as good as I've ever seen. I don't understand why he's not playing in the premiership... He'd definitely fit into a man united side... And I think Norwood is a very underrated player. I think he's the keyman. But I think he's faded from the spotlight and other players have taken more spotlight. When Sheffield Wednesday beat Newcastle it wasn't really a shock.. I can't remember the last time from League One or the old 3rd division, when a team from there beat a top-tier team and wasn't seen as a shock.

For United the last match was a battle with barely a shot on target in the first half. The squad is 95% fit now, imagine how we'd have done without reaching a total of fourteen players injured by November, Jesus H! The Pigs of Swillsborough will certainly be rooting around for joy and I'd give Darren Moore every credit for his success with them, but I was hearing a few grumbles about him when he joined. Lucky, scabby, Wednesday managed another win against the team that beat Plymouth 5-2 unfortunately with only half a team, so it doesn't look like that blip you expected has started yet. @@mattrobinson262 It's tricky to take too many positions Matt else you end up contradicting yourself throughout the seasons. I try and lay out the videos as questions like 'Can Boro make the Top 2?' or 'Will both Sheffield clubs go up?'. Generally as a rule up at the top you don't see as wild type swings as you do at the bottom as the consistency is obviously better, so I've always said it'd take something big for the switch to happen. Just felt that right on the cusp of Boro getting a bit of a psychological edge it swung back last week. Hope that makes sense!

First off, referring back to Ipswich and Plymouth fans demanding a few weeks back that they get more credit for their fantastic achievements this season, well done both. An unlucky 5-2 defeat against a really good side in Peterborough for the Mighty Green Army, and a very convincing 1-0 win for Ipswich against an impressive MK Dons outfit. Both teams and their fans have been a terrific advert for League 1 and thoroughly deserve their 2nd and 3rd places, just behind the lucky Wednesday who despite having half a first team out most weeks keep scabbing lucky wins. Surely their luck must run out soon? They are rubbish, they'll never stay the course, it's their turn to have a dip in form soon etc. Now to answer your question Ben. Yes, scabby, poor, not as impressive as Plymouth and Ipswich's mighty warriors, Sheffield Wednesday will go on to win the league by at least 8 points as I predicted weeks ago. Unfortunately, the Blades will go up too, just, and after their usual spell of nervous tension, making things slightly harder than they should've been. Meantime, I do hope my beloved Wednesday can play a full strength side sometime before the end of this season so we can see their true potential. Amendment.......I see there have been some nice comments from Blades fans. Respect fellas. I now want to say I actually want the Blades to get promoted for those fans who have been able to show some love to us. Good luck Bladesmen from the Lane.

@@BenjaminBloom I can imagine so with the Ipswich Town and Norwich City rivalry. Football can bring great joy for the successful and pain and suffering for the unsuccessful. Rivalry apart my biggest pain and suffering as a Blades fan was watching Don Givens failure to score from the Penalty spot with a very poorly taken penalty in the last minute of the final game against Walsall in the then Third Division now the League One, this resulted in United being relegated to the old Fourth Division. That was painful as was all the stick from the Owls fans that came with our relegation. All that said I enjoyed following Sheff United in the Fourth Division, some great games and memories going on to win the title. Dave Harry Bassett soon to take over as manager and successive promotions back to the First Division ( The now Premier League ) would follow. Showing my age now hehehe, the best years for me though as a Unitedite was following John Harris's Aces ... The great early 1970s era with the Blades team consisting of the great Alan Woodward and Tony Currie amongst other great Blades players in that team and time. I have a good memory of United winning Ipswich town 7 - 0 at the lane in which the late great goalscoring genius Alan Woodward would score Four of the Seven goals. Sorry to dig that out Benjamin 😂. Ipswich Town had a great team in the 70s and I remember watching them on the television win the FA Cup at Wembley against Arsenal in a time when the FA Cup Competition was something massive and very special, especially the final and the eventual cup winners. A big dream of mine to see the Blades lift the FA Cup at Wembley stadium. I'm starting to rattle on now and becoming boring so I will sign off now.
