When Jeremy sings The love I meant to say, it just shatters my heart. The 1st time it broke me was when he sang it on Smash in tribute to Andy’s character who had just died. His voice just rips my heart out when he sings those devastatingly sad songs.

I'm a nurse in the city, in the past month I've found myself often walking through an empty hell's kitchen, it's not on my commute...I just walk aimlessly from the hospital until I feel like I can start heading home... to brooklyn. Start the whole decontamination process & try to act human thing... I walk past the places I used to go, in "normal" times, to commiserate on our seemingly, lousy days. I look at 54/below and just stop and stare. It's 4am and like most nights I'm still up by myself, watching videos. it's impossible to leave things at work, zoning out watching these videos are the best hours of my days, and who needs sleep. I'm not sure what I'm trying to say... but thanks Ben.

I'll be honest, this show always seemed hit or miss to me in Smash but this concert makes me see it for what it really is- really enjoyable if imperfect. I also adore some of the songs we never heard on the show. Haddonfield (15 years later) is freaking awesome.
