Hi. Greetings from Uk. Just intrigued by the playing at around 55 seconds in and near end. Absolutely love the style which obviously helps with speed but wondered if you were playing it with the thumb or index finger. Love all thee stuff you do. 👍

Index nail, I call it "Alternail" technique. It's an alternative to traditional picado which can be IMO a little unergonomic.

Yes, but a bit higher to get better tone. I find it better for recording, even though harder to play. If I need it easier to play or to get that buzzy raspiness, I can just put on a capo.

It's Ben's version of picado. In one of his technique videos he talks about it. He uses his thumb like a pic instead of using two fingers.

@@RandyH524 Actually it's my index nail. I call the technique "Alternail picking" and the technique just before that I call "Altzapua" (instead of alzapua), also with my index instead of the thumb.
