I was a kid in the 70’s too, I was barefoot whenever I could be. As an adult I go barefoot when I can too😂. Nowadays I think they call it grounding? Or at least the population of adults who are into it.

I found your channel a little while ago and I just wanted to say, you’re SUCH a great mom. Obviously we only see what you put online but you can always just tell with the interactions we DO see. Like benji having the confidence to try riding the bike without training wheels just goes to show how supportive your household is. Also love how you just sit and talk to the camera. I feel like I can just put you on and it’s like I’m having a convo with a friend. Thank you for all that you share! Truly. 🩷🩷🩷

Couldn't you show us a bit more of the animals pleeease? 😍 I would really LOVE to see more of them, their enclosures etc., getting to know them better. As much as I also love seeing your house, maybe it's not on purpose, but we really haven't seen much of the farm life lately, and I miss it. All the best! ❤

I like the wallpaper that is partially tucked under the mirror. It’s airy, light and will go well with the green and blue also. Congrats to Benji for riding a 2 wheeler at such a young age. He’s a pro already. ❤

Urgh my heart. My eldest is on the spectrum, and body awareness is not on her radar. But somehow, neighborhood friends banded together, from age 7 to 12, and spent an entire summer showing her how to ride a bike at 4/5 years old. It had us moms in tears. She then taught her then 3 years old sister how to ride her bike (she's very gross motor advanced). Now she still has limited abilities in gross motor things. The poor kid still sinks after swimming lessons, ect, but that's one thing she now can keep up with the other kids, and siblings, at the park, and we love it! Our newly turned 3 years old is on the balance bike and just like Benji has started creating ramps and finding hills to speed down on 😂

My son started riding a bike when he was 3 yo. No trainingweels(1 was broken so we never put them up ) or any other bike before that. Just out of the blue. He wasn't able to use the brakes, so he just rode against a wall and let himself fall off. No crying, no screaming, just a happy confident child!

I can't belive Benji is riding a bike! Balance bikes are the best, I had one before they were even a proper thing (at least here in the uk) because my dad took the pedals off my bike back in about 1998/1999 to help me when I was 3 or 4 and it really did, I never used stabilisers, went straight from the no pedals to riding properly

Angie, keep in mind that no one is going to be feeling the wall paper. And also remember you’re going to want to change it sometime. So don’t make it so spendy that you feel like you have to keep it forever. Wallpaper, even luxury wallpaper, changes in time. It fades due to sunlight and if it’s near the kitchen, grease will land on it. The seams, will eventually start to separate. I love wallpaper, it adds so much to a room and a feel to the house. I just wanted to warn you. I know the thick papers are so nice, and they hide a multitude of sins. If you have walls that are very damaged, or very textured, the thicker wall papers are very nice. Like grass wallpapers. But the thinner ones are lighter and way easier to work with. Definitely get prepasted and use the sizing on the wall to prepare it. It’s going to be beeeeyouteeeefull. I like the one with the light blue background. It’s so pretty. That’s my fav. But like you said, you have eyes on it in the space. And you can touch it. But just like the sheets, sometimes the luxe choice isn’t what we want after all.

Nooooooo Benji!!!!! You're supposed to STILL be a baby! My goodness how fast he has grown up. I agree with removing the darker green, I like the two on the bottom. Depending on the blue for the other room, that particular wallpaper might be good, but I really like the one on the bottom. Just light and airy and will open up your room.

Sorry to hear that with some animals it is not going so well. Hope Raven and Marigold will feel better soon. Sage and forrest green colours are my favourite. Perhaps mixed in with some blues and whites. I use them all year round and change for the season with new decorative pillow covers in seasonal colours. For the wallpaper I love the one with the blue background or the bottom one both with the botanical pattern. It's refreshing and combine well with the green and the blue you want I think.

I was never allowed outside without my shoes. Which is most likely why I like wearing my shoes all the time. My grandmother told me to never go outside without my shoes and the one time I didn’t listen because I was chasing after the dog. I stepped on a bee and got stung. That was the first and last time I went out without shoes, until I was older. I am letting my kids go out without shoes and I do try to go out without my shoes on occasions.

Just some information to anyone who’s curious! The reason why it’s hard to find an exotic vet, is because small animals, birds, reptiles, etc aren’t a big part of the normal education a vet gets. So to take in and have knowledge on exotic animals, the vet would need to have specialised in exotics. Since becoming a vet is already a very long education, not many people decide to specialise more after finishing basic vet school.

Hi, love the colour of the bedding! Is it usual to use a flat sheet with a duvet? I don’t think it is here in the UK. The whole point of a duvet cover is that you take it off and wash it so you don’t need a flat sheet. I think I’d get all tangled up if I had a flat sheet too 😄
