Dang, you never said how much the figs were. I love figs. I had an Italian neighbor who had two huge fig trees growing up, and he always gave us a bunch on our way home from school, lol. He also used to make homemade sauce and leave a create full of Mason jars on our porch. Great memories.

Fresh figs are amazing! My Nonna who recently passed, used to grow them. She was a green thumb and I have no clue how that plant stood alive here in the Midwest! The weather is way different than Italy’s!

Kirklands frozen pizza is delicious for after school snack for the kids. I shopped at Fred Meyer for deli meat specifically Boars Head and get freshly sliced. Their white cheddar is pretty tasty too. Of course they have Tillamook as well.

I don’t like the figs from Costco. They are picked underripe and aren’t sweet. We get ours from the farmer’s market because they’re picked the day before or the day of. It’s such a luxury. I hope you enjoy them!

Where I live in Australia shiitakes are about 4 to 5 times the cost of what you pay for them Benji which is crazy considering we are literally next door to Asia and with regards to holidays, our supermarkets start putting out Easter stuff the day after Christmas so I feel you on the too early stuff

Real Italian .extra Virgin Olive Oil is very dark green and very slippery little goes a long way can cost minimum $30-50 for a gallon size must be only pressed at one location multiple locations they use partially rotten olives can make you very sick

Because I just don't want that "powder stuff" on my cheese id rather find an easier way to slice the cheese. Right now im lookin for 1. Cheese slicer 2. Something that slices onions for homemade onion rings and 3. An upright metal french fry slicer. The sideways ones don't even make sense.
