Many things have unequivocally improved, but ngl it feels too cluttered with so many guns that are basically the same now, the whole inventory interface is still pretty janky, and the core gameplay loop hasn't really stayed fresh. Don't even get me started on the monetisation

I took a 5 year break from the game. When I came back, they had added C4, panzerfaust, blue chips and like 3 or 4 new maps, it was wild. It feels like it's headed in a really cash-grabby direction though, and some of the gameplay decisions have been awful. Why are the Tommy and UMP45 9mm now? The ARs and SMGs are basically all the same, it's just clutter. The inventory still really sucks. And the new "match me with players that speak my language" is a total joke, in the EU servers it's just people speaking Arabic in an internet café, or people don't even turn on their mic (why did they select that option then???). This game is so addictive but it's in spite of its myriad and longstanding flaws that make it such a drag in between the actual epic moments. Like one time I C4d myself AND the last guy so nobody won (we both perished simultaneously in the feed), or just the other day I met a guy who was a great glider pilot and I managed to panzerfaust a guy from the backseat! It just feels like these moments are few and far between... Maybe I'll uninstall and just watch these clips for my fix xD
