How is “Hardcore Henry” a better “Doom” movie than the “Doom” movie
@gaminggladiator064 жыл бұрын
I think it’s because the doom movie strayed too far from the original story. For crying out loud, the monsters weren’t even demons, and there was no doomguy whatsoever, just a short first-person scene only there to remind that you’re watching a doom movie. Now, if the whole movie centered around doomguy, entirely in first person, killing demons and being a badass, i’d watch it. Maybe add a little story into it, because apparently you can’t make a movie entirely on action, but just enough to not get in the way of the action. In fact, why not let id software make the movie, they’re been responsible with the series and did well with it, i’m sure they can think of something. Quite possibly mostly violence.

John Wick shootouts are goated. The fact they are incorporating the reloads into the shootout scene's "choreography" instead of peppering them in as an afterthought is top notch. One of the first films/franchises to do it so well, at least in the modern era. The amount of training and preparation that went into putting those sequences together really made for an incredible final product. Anyone who worked on those films should be proud, from the PAs all the way up through the entire cast and crew. Last but not least, RIP Lance Reddick.
