I couldn’t agree more. I was blown away by this film. A very good friend of mine was the PD, François Audouy, and it was his first true blockbuster after many many years working under some of the top PD’s in the industry. I was so proud of him and how this picture turned out. The pseudo post-apocalyptic world he created, now void of most mutants, was evident from this first scene and truly captured the ever-present pain, loss and anger inside of Logan. Beautiful production design, different from any other X-Men film. Bravo Frank!! ❤️💯💪👏🔥🙏🏻👍🏻

Damn, this looks pretty good, surprised I haven't come across it considering the amount I watch. The fight scenes in the Raid 2 are some of the best out there, but the fight near the end in the kitchen, I have to say, I don't think I've seen a movie that beats it, incredible, hair on the back of your neck raising stuff. Amazing film. Definitely checking out this one next.

Finally got round to watching this. Admittedly, the connection between the Man and the girl is very nice and emotional, but I couldn't help but keep thinking they had the 1994 movie Leon in mind when putting this together. Apart from that, the action wasn't great, maybe because I've seen a lot better. There's a lot of editing and cuts, to make it look good, but it's not on the same level as The Raid 2, and doesn't compare to say the opening sequence of the 2017 Korean movie The Villainess. Deliver Us From Evil 2020, is a good tense, Korean gangster action film, which involves, among other things, the main character trying to track down a daughter he never knew he had, before she ends be sold off.

Not only is "Upgrade" the most under-rated sci-fi movie of the past several years, its choreography and directing word hand-in-hand to really tell a story: (1) lots of mid shots; we're not drowning in close-ups, (2) good editing that less us understand where we are spatially, and where the characters are in relation to each other. The fight scene for "Wild Card" on the other is just noise. It conveys less information than it should. Sure, there's a lot going on, but the spastic edits and crazy close-ups don't let you mentally sew together a cohesive thing.

'Upgrade' is one of the best SF films made since... Well, those comparisons are meaningless. It is a perfect piece of lo-fi eighties homage that to me looks like something John Carpenter could have released had he been working thirty five years later. Brilliantly made and on a fraction of the budget of 'Venom' which was so similar but _so_ inferior. Its hard to measure against all of SF. But 'Blade Runner', 'Matrix'(1) and 'Upgrade' are the three best _cyberpunk_ films ever made. I haven't seen Matrix 4 yet so... But even if its amazing it'll probably not be as good as 'Upgrade'.

Although it's fun to watch the protagonist(s) take on multiple bad guys effortlessly without ever really even getting hit in typical Hollywood action movies, fight scenes like these where the main character really takes a beating/barely wins the fight are obviously much more believable and sometimes more fun to watch. Fight scenes like the first one are great. Instead of the hero instantly taking down a group of bad guys, the fight is slow and gritty. It has weight to it and it feels real.

I’m so glad the punisher didn’t kill him He grew on me as the episodes went on. Imagine if they teamed up to take down some bad guys

I'm not a big Steven Seagal fan by any means, but the final fight in Marked For Death was pretty brutal. I remember thinking when I first saw it, "Damn, I'm glad I'm not that dude."

Its almost the same as Venom, even the actors and their humor sense are similar
